We have been three times and the servers always leave us alone waiting for them. We get a drink order in and when we tell them that we’ll order after this round, they disappear for 10, 15 minutes and sometimes more. On today’s visit, our waitress disappeared to the extent that when we asked someone else to find them and the nice person went looking for them, they (the nice person) finally just came back took our order themselves. The person acting as the hostess and possibly wonder woman of the restaurant saved our entire experience. She decided to take care of us herself and was so nice! She was very apologetic about the missing server and brightened up our whole day. We like the food and drinks, but the servers cannot be paid to come to your table more than once, maybe twice in 45 minutes. The hostess working the register at 3:45pm on 2/9/26 deserves a major raise! We’re ready to just sit up there at the register and have drinks there where she is so that we don’t have to deal with the servers.

We had a Chicken Quesadilla and Spinach Enchiladas. They were delicious. I asked about spicy levels and the waitress was helpful and pointed me in the right direction. Everything was fresh and hot. The waitress was attentive and friendly and the place was clean. We will definitely be back to dine outside.

Chips were on the thicker side, but the salsa was delicious! I had the birra soup, and it was also very good. No one in our group had any complaints about their food. The service was also great. Salsa bowls and drink were kept full the entire time. Will definitely return!

I got the Baja tacos. They were pretty good. We also got some cheese dip and it was good as well. Everything tasted good and the staff was great.

The food here is usually top notch but the service has always been questionable. Someone first dropped off chips and salsa we found hair in. It took over 20 minutes for someone to take our drink and food order, then more minutes till another person took it again, then 10 more minutes or so more until we received the drinks from the first person. We were here almost an hour before receiving the one dish we ordered, incorrect. And they never put in the order for the cheese dip we ordered so that came part way through the food instead of out first like requested. We ran out of drinks long before the food was gone and no one came back around to bring us a ticket to take up front for at least 10 more minutes after food was gone. Then they charged us extra for tortillas with our fajitas…they never told us it was extra for them. Between the service today and the front door being half locked against the rules of fire code upon multiple visits, we will likely not be back.

This has become one of our favorite local places for carryout. I can’t speak to the service in the restaurant, but the food is among the best for Tex-Mex in the Lee’s Summit/Independence area. The app makes ordering a breeze! The Beef Tips Chimi is a favorite!

My husband had carne asada and had to pull fat off the meat. My son and I had fajitas. I asked for vegetarian and to add pineapple. The pineapple wasn’t added. They were tasty though. My son had the combo fajitas and also said they were good. My daughter in law had the street tacos and didn’t care for them. Service was ok, nice but on the slow side. Had to ask for ask for more salsa a couple of times before it was brought and had to ask for drink refills. Pricey as well. The parking lot is close.
