Don’t want to argue with the people that serve your food. Lol been in the restaurant business myself for some time now. So respect to be respected!!
The 2nd time the staff weren’t attentive or courteous with a slight attitude. We walk inside we walk up to the counter, and the display of the food.
My opinion on the display is that they can leave the hot foods, like stews, beans, soups, rice etc. They should consider getting covers/lids for the hot foods to protect from debris, (INSECTS )
And covers/lids for the salad bar.
However, the fried food should be cooked by orders when customers want to order fried foods. ( I know for that we should go to Popeyes or KFC right ?) No, because if I’m in the mood to eat Dominicana food, I’m going to buy what i want. Plus getting off work exhausted, who would wants to drive out their way?! Not, I!!!
Moreover, I personally think that the fried food should not sit there with the other foods, maintaining warm not even hot ontop of hot water and the vapor of that water is what keeps it warm. Since none of the food on the display is covered everything on top is dark, super dry/ hard, its kept warm . By the time you get home the costly $$ dinner you bought for your family is cold!!! Defeats the purpose of eating outside food because you’re too tired to cook!!!
The fried chicken is good, could be delicious if it was cooked by orders as customers orders the fried foods and HOT.
Staffs didn’t acknowledge us at all. After standing there for more than 5mins we’re not sure if the lady that took care of us is the owner because she greeted in a passive aggressive way. Only SOME entitled business owners act that way towards their customers. (Should be a little humble) the place has potential, the food is good. It just needs to be HOT not WARM.. WE AS PAYING CUSTOMERS ALSO WORK HARD FOR OUR $$$ money. AND AS PAYING CUSTOMERS, TIRED FROM WORKING 10 + HRS SHIFTS TO GO AND GET TAKE OUT , TO ONLY BE TREATED AS IF WE’RE ASKING FOR FREE FOOD, BEING RUDE AND WITH ATTITUDE EXTREMELY UNNECESSARY.
Nonetheless, they should consider making
a few changes and adjustments in the way the food is displayed. As well and above all most importantly retaining their staffs on customer service . Because SOME lack that part!!!!
This is only CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM not trying to bash no one or tarnish anyone’s name, business and or reputation.
However, just like you go out to get take out or go into any public place to dine, you would want to be treated with the utmost respect as paying customer,?! So put yourself in your own customers shoes. That are your paying customers to expect the same treament as well!!!!
