A wide variety of Latin food, mostly Cuban, the flavors were on point and the service was unique, I had lunch there on an all you can eat buffet for only $13.95 drinks not included.

We found a buffet your abuelita would approve of. Located in Hialeah, they specialize in making home cooked Latin dishes. Their dishes are fresh, they taste like your Tia and abuelita are back there cooking. It’s the kind of place you come to when you’ve been away from Miami and you want a bite of everything. We loved picadillo, ropa vieja and they had some of the best yuca. Their prices are good and they have killer specials. Someone mentioned they even have a taco Tuesday special and that they like to party it up on Saturdays. This Valentine’s Day they will have their usual live music along with these amazing drinks and a special menu. If you’re tired of your family not knowing what to eat, check them out.

Customer service was phenomenal, and everybody was very attentive. However, the food was not as good as I expected. Some dishes were flavorful and good, but some were oversalted or lacked flavor. The buffet style is nice, as it provides ample choices. They have multiple varieties of pastas, meats, rice, and a salad bar area. Be aware that drinks and desserts are not included, and you have to order those separately. On a Friday evening, the menu was $25 each. We were a party of 4 and they added a $16 service charge which was very surprising. But due to the amazing customer service, I’m willing to come back and try some other dishes.

I have heard many good things about this place that I had to bring my friends to try it. The food was delicious, the service incredible and when talking to Malu (the manager) we realized how passionate these individuals are. Prices are affordable and the vibe is awesome! Would definitely be visiting their new site called “El Sartenazo” which will host 200+ people, keep it up “El Sarten” Team !!! Also looking forward to trying more ECUADORIAN food in their menu, thanks for all you do to keep our food and traditions alive !!!

The food is Good, but the meats that don’t come with a sauce re dry, but they still taste good good. Both ceviche of shrimp n fish re not good, 3 of 10.
Our favorite dishes were: Ajiaco (soup), ground meat 100%, pull pork, pull meat, mashed potatoes.
It’s a laud place, especially if there is a BD..OMG Extremely laud.

Celebrated a birthday at El Sarten, a Cuban buffet, with my family, and it was a delightful first-time experience inspired by social media advertising. Offering a diverse range of dishes from salads to meats, El Sarten stands out with its pricing – $13.95 for lunch and $18.95 for dinner on weekdays, and $18.95 for lunch and $22.95 for dinner on weekends.
The ambiance is inviting, and what truly made our celebration memorable was the attentive service from the waitresses. While drinks and desserts come at an additional cost, the reasonable buffet prices make it a worthwhile dining option.
Though the pork chops and fish didn’t reach culinary heights, other items like the ajiaco left a lasting impression. The menu’s variety ensures there’s something for everyone. The drinks and natural juices were commendable, adding to the overall positive experience.
El Sarten offers a unique and reasonably priced buffet experience, making it an excellent choice for family celebrations or casual outings. Despite a couple of dishes falling short, the standout items and warm ambiance make it highly recommended, particularly for those craving an authentic taste of Cuban cuisine.

We gave this a try the other day. If you go, get ready to overpay at the end. You will be greeted at the end with a service charge even with a part of 2 (surprise!). Then you can add a tip, AND – lucky you- you get to pay another service fee for using a credit card. The server was nice but his name was not Karla. The food was ok and there are better options less than 10 minutes away. Yeah, I felt duped… won’t be back.
