As a Salvadoran I feel deeply offended that what this restaurant has to offer is the representation of my cultures food. Please don’t eat here if you are looking to venture out and try authentic Salvadoran food because this just isn’t it. I love supporting local whole-in-the-wall places, but it pains me when the experience I was looking forward to having is not given. The pupusas cannot be called pupusas, they were simply thick, extremely thick, tortillas stuffed with a bit of cheese or stuffing here and there, with mushy masa (corn flour mixture), giving the impression that they’ve been frozen and then just thawed out and heated in the microwave. The chicken tamales were too small and too pricey. The curtido (pickled cabbage) was not pickled at all, simply cut cabbage, and not even fresh cabbage at that. The Salvadoran horchata was disgusting, not even the coffee was good. My husband and I literally left our food there after one bite. I’m so saddened that this is what is being represented as Salvadoran food because it just isn’t. I’m giving one star reviews only because it doesn’t allow me to give negative stars.

Decided to try this place out for the first time after hearing so much about them. The food was amazing. The only problem I have is on the online order it offers chips and Salsa for 3.25 well upon my husband arriving I get this I mean I’m all for a minor change but atleast give my my money’s worth I got exactually 2 tablespoons of Guacamole smeared to look like allot and 10 greasy chips. Definitely will be back because the tacos and papusas are amazing

Wow, some really good and authentic south of the border food. I had the Chiles Rellenos dinner, which was different from any other chiles rellenos that I’ve ever had before, but they were awesomely different. Great flavor in everything that was served to us. Service was spot on and friendly.
I will be back to try some of the other fantastic looking dishes!
Also, I would have given the restaurant a 4.5 rating, but there were a lot of tables that needed to be cleared after the lunchtime rush, but other than that everything was just really very good.

Excellent food. Asked for what they did best and had a wonderful chicken with amazing sauce. This is no-frills dining, but a unique experience. Would heartily recommend and plan to bring my wife there next time we are in town.

Chicharron wasn’t done they’ve made me new ones and still wasn’t done overall won’t be going back to that place again . The waiter wasn’t any help at all so I just paid and went on my way . Eat here at your own discretion.

I love trying food from different cultures, i naturally love spicy food. Their food was not spicy, still good but not for my liking. THAT is not why i gave it a 3 stars though. The 3 stars come from the waitress rushing me to order. I HATE being rushed in general but more when its my first time at a restaurant. The waitress even interrupted me while i was ordering to ensure my kids gave her back the menus…therefore didnt hear what i wanted and i had to repeat myself AGAIN.
