The mixed drinks were good… That’s about where the best part starts and ends unfortunately. Service is rough at best, very slow, had to request a bar menu which felt odd, the taco salad was very… Wet. Shredded chicken tasted like canned chicken. It was just a not great experience. The desserts did look good though, so I think we missed out on that one.

This place used to be great. The new owners have taken shortcuts on everything. If you look at the menu online you see one price. When you call in that order and pick it up it’s a price difference of 6-10 dollars per item. When you bring it to their attention the little short guy gets all upset saying why didn’t you order online it’s cheaper. Sir that doesn’t make sense. They proceeded to screw up our order and then I had to bring the order back to them in order for it to be fixed. The amount of side eye and disrespect was overwhelming. Once the new order was completed the little short guy proceeded to follow me outside and say disrespectful things until his employees pulled him back inside. Overall disgusting behavior and will not go back.

My husband and I decided to try El Salsa in Wendell, and WOW we were blown away. Hands down the best Mexican food we have ever had. Every bite was fresh and full of flavor, and you can tell they put real care into their food.

The service was just as impressive friendly, attentive, and fast without feeling rushed. We felt genuinely welcomed the entire time.

This is definitely our new spot. If you’re looking for incredible food and great service, El Salsa is the place.

El Salsa is such a solid go-to in Raleigh. The food is consistently good, portions are generous, and the service is always friendly. Plus, you can’t beat the free salsa when you sit down—always a nice touch. Perfect spot for a casual meal.

We really like this place. Its close by and everything we’ve tried has been excellent. Everyone is very friendly and service is usually quick. I almost always get the Street Tacos Al Pastor with the Smokey Spicy Salsa (see photo). That stuff will make you sweat, but it is SO GOOD! Music can be a bit loud sometimes, but overall the atmosphere is nice and casual. Would highly recommend!

I decided to take my Gf here for the first time and so glad we did. The food was absolutely amazing & delicious. We were greeted and sat right away. Fabian was our waiter and was great. It’s located next to a gas station at the corner of a light. Give this place a try and it won’t disappoint. Attached are photos from tonight. My GF got this $25 dish but it was worth it. I got the chicken and chorizo burrito which was also good. The salsa was flavorful and the chips were so fresh & hot. As you can see nothing was left lol. We will be back.

Food was so awful. The meat smelled bad and tasted awful. Guacamole was more like just green cream. Not sure if there was even half of an avocado used to make it. But service was good. The staff were very nice, this the one star. I basically just had chips and salsa for $13.00 plus tip.

Ordered a $200 order maybe more. Most of the food was ok. But Their torta cubana which was almost $20, was disappointing mostly from a quantity standard. I’ve had plenty of torta cubana all over Raleigh. This one had nothing on it. No one should pay over $10 for such a small sandwich. When you get a cubana the amount of ingredients in it should be at LEAST half an Inch worth of meat veggies(a great one has an inch or more). This was barely a quarter maybe less. Totally overpriced, and underprepared
