The pupusas here are definitely the best in the area, and believe me I know about pupusas. The pupusas are better than the other 3 restaurants in the area, tamales de pollo, atol de elote y tamales de elote are really good.

It’s not El Taco Sabroso anymore their focus is Salvadoran food but they still sell tacos and burritos. The pupusas are big and filling. If you are going to eat there be prepared to wait a while, promise it’s worth it. If you’re ordering to go I recommend to call ahead, making your food takes some time so the wait will be longer if you don’t . Prices and reasonable and portions are enough, place is spacious.

Came here for a quick lunch with my mom. She was visiting from Rialto. We were going somewhere else but it was closed. So we walked into this place. First of all they have a menu on the wall with no prices on it. Second, the food is pricey for what you get. We paid over $26 for a carnitas burrito and a taco plate for my mom. She complained that the beans tasted burned and the shredded beef tacos were cold. The avocado on it was black on the ends. My burrito was okay in taste but it was very small. While we ate in the patio, we were fighting off flies the entire time. I will never return to this place. My 3 stars is being generous.

Shrimp cevechi tostada was very good! Shrimp and all ingredients were fresh. The tostadas were freshly made still warm out of the fryer! I heard this location has been taken under new management so good for them!

The Best Authentic Mexican Food in Whittier. Ordered the Caldo De Pollo and it was Delicious. The hand made Tortillas that came alone with it put it over the top for me. Also had A Carnitas Mulita and A Chicharon y Queso Pupusa. Two Thumbs up! I would highly recommend this place to all and try for yourself.

Have been coming here for at least 7 years. Amazing food, have never gone wrong with anything I’ve tried. The pupusas are delicious, the carnitas as crispy and moist. Wish I lived closer so I can visit more often
