They have the best salsa that I have ever tasted! Huge portions, very reasonably priced. The chorizo taco was amazing. The carnitas taco was a little too fatty, but he did ask me if I wanted the skin on it and I said yes because that sounded interesting. When I overpaid, they ran out to the parking lot to make sure I got my money back. Very very nice staff. Very little English but most of the menu is in English as well.

They didn’t seem at all concerned with whether I was there, or if I ever came back. That said, the staff was really friendly when spoken to. The environment was comfortable, and quiet. The food… Outstanding!

Best Hispanic food in town … Friendly service and great food. Came for a solo session and my plate has nothing left on it. They have lunch specials from 12pm-2pm. Everything on the lunch menu is 7.99. Nice spot to eat lunch and just the right amount of portions.

This placed used to be really good until they changed owners. The new owners began using severely inferior ingredients, yet jacked up the price. Our “carnitas” taco had cubed shaped frozen pork pieces with store bought tortillas. Cilantro and onions were brown as if they were cut 10 days prior.
The place pretends to be an authentic Mexican experience and uses that gimmick to draw unsuspecting customer who think they are going to a real restaurant, but the food is anything but authentic. It’s just cheap, frozen ingredients thrown together haphazardly without any regard to quality or food service standards. There are many, many great Mexican restaurants in town. If you are reading this, please skip this place entirely as they are giving Lexington a bad name in Hispanic food.
Go to nearby Tortilleria Taqueria Y Ramirez on Alexandria Dr to get the real deal.

Pretty good. The entire menu is in Spanish, just be prepared for that. I ordered chicken fajitas and they appeared as steak fajitas which were still pretty good but a little too salty for me. The salsa was some of the best from a restaurant I’ve had! The Hawaiian chicken mix my boyfriend had was very good. Large portions so I ended up taking leftovers.

We had just finished selling my mothers house and we were looking for a place to eat before heading back home add we decided to stop and grab a quick bite here. My sister had her emotional support animal with her and the owner saw it when we walked in but didn’t say anything. (The dog is less then 3lbs so it’s not like it was a huge animal) It wasn’t till after they had taken out our drinks that they decided to tell us the dog couldn’t be there. There was 8 of us they could have spared us the time from the get go.

This was my 1st time eating here and I have to say the Hawaiian Chicken I got was AMAZING. The server we had (and only one working) was awesome, and made some really great suggestions to my boss and I! The booths were a little run down, space was a little tight, but overall I give them a 4/5! Thanks!
