I’ve always loved their octopus salad but today was a complete disgrace! I ordered it freshly made and after driving half hour there and then half hour back home looking forward to my salad and then rubber… Chewy, Salty not fresh at all. If it was fresh hands down to the cook because it was so chewy I couldn’t tell. I also did order sancocho which was very tasty but more on the soupy side, sancocho should be more of a thicker broth more like a thick stew.

I got the chimi sandwich with fries. They barely gave me any fries and the sandwich was so soggy and overloaded with sauce I couldn’t even enjoy it, they put too much on. I also ordered the alcapurries for $3 each and I couldn’t believe the size lol it was smaller then palm of my hand…I could go to the other spot near there and get it for the same price but better!! And there was no meat!! I will never order from here again

Walking through the door, I was greeted. Obviously busy, as it was lunch hour, the wait wasn’t long. I ordered through Grubhub and the order was ready in the time frame. The food displayed makes you want to try everything. I ordered the Pernil combo with yellow plantain and salad. Great price for the amount of food and the taste..Superb! I will be returning. ¡Muchas Gracias!

My wife and I had the potato ball and alcapurria for appetizers. I’ve had better potato balls at El Artesano at Union City, their alcapurria tasted and felt like it was refried 3 times over. We left most of it.
For entree my wife ordered Meatballs in red sauce with white rice, I got Codfish in white sauce with Black bean Moro.
Her meatballs tasted like store bought meatballs, the ones you would normally buy at the freezer section at a Stop N Shop. My Codfish was bland and tasteless. It had too many peppers, not enough Codfish. But it wouldn’t have made a difference if it did contain more of that tasteless Codfish.
The best part of the meal was the dessert and the service. Our dessert was Free, thanks to a Yelp check-in. I got us Trés Leches. It wasn’t overly sweet, just right, very moist and tasty.
Our server was Ericka, she did a great job, friendly service and attentive.
I wouldn’t come back for the food, but I would for its desserts.

ROACH IN MY SOUP!! My pregnant cousin ate a whole large sancocho, when she got to the bottom, there was a DEAD FLOATING ROACH. DONT EAT HERE !

I ordered for delivery ribs with rice and beans THREE ORDERS and they had the audacity to give me ONE rib per order. Skinny rib at that. My bill was $40 plus tip and I got THREE ribs. That was insane. Guess I won’t be going there no more if they so stingy with food.

I have to give a new review on it. I’m very disappointed lately the price on food went up more and the amount of food is ridiculous. This is what I got for a lunch of Rabo.
