A little piece of Oaxaca right here in Nashville! I’ve eaten here a couple of times already. The mole was DELICIOUS! (I had enmoladas) Honestly, I don’t know if I’ve tasted better mole, even in Oaxaca! Gonna try to force myself to order some of their other menu items next time I go (entomatadas, chile relleno, etc.). I just wish I lived closer!

The molè was really good. It had a smooth texture and I could taste the smokey-fruity chili flavor. The rice was delicious. The salsa was very good, it was on the hotter side of mild but still good. The red sauce was also delicious but a bit bitter for me. My friend loved it though. The platanos were also good. I would eat here again.

Plenty of parking.
Plenty of seating to accommodate small and larger gatherings.
Service was speedy and friendly.
I ordered the mole and a tepache drink.
The mole consisted of mole sauce two pieces of chicken, Mexican rice with two tortillas.
Food came out nice and hot (temperature wise)
The rice was on point. Cooked perfect.
Mole was good but it was lacking something. (Bland to my taste). I am used to mole having an earthy flavor and maybe a sweet or spicy taste to add. This one did not have either of those.
The tepache was a true disappointment. It tasted like sweetened pineapple water. There were no fermentation flavors to this drink.
The prices were higher than I expected (especially during lunchtime). Mole was $15.99 (about $3-$4 more than what I am used to).
The tepache was $8.99 (that is about $5-$6 too much). Total meal at lunchtime cost me $27.29w/tax (+tip)

While I was not impressed with my meal or prices this visit, I will return and try other dishes on the menu then update my review.

Took my mother-in-love to get some Taco Salads when she landed from a flight. She said this might be her new favorite Mexican place.

So I’m here to leave my honest review. Literally just walked out of this establishment and was gave very poor customer service. The first waitress who came over was rude, unfriendly and gave us an unwelcoming look. She didn’t even start us with an appetizer. However, she was being friendly with the men there. This is the most poor customer service I’ve ever received in my life. We had another waitress take over but we ended up leaving since we were baffled at the experience. I’ll admit the food is good but the customer service will ruin the experience. The owner of the the restaurant who I believe is a woman is just as rude and I do not recommend coming here.
