This was our first time here! I saw one of their House Margaritas online looked very similar to Solea’s House margarita so I HAD to try it to see if they taste the same!! Surprisingly they are very similar in taste! Only El Sabor’s version doesn’t seem as strong tasting, but I enjoyed it very much! This time I tried an appetizer and he tried the fried ice cream! Both were very flavorful and well worth the cheaper price! He is picky about fried ice cream because some places do not actually fry the ice cream but this place has a delicious crunchy fried shell coating the ice cream! Our server was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was very inviting and chill! Beautiful little hidden gem! We will return to try full meals soon! 🙂

A great little place to grab some Mexican food, with delicious burritos and really tasty i’m guessing homemade flan for dessert, this was a nice place to visit for lunch, the food was served in a good sized proportion as well as it tasted really good, I would definitely stop in again in the future and maybe try some other delicious options on the menu, oh and I was surprised that there chips came with multiple sauces to, something I would love to see at other Mexican restaurants! One last thing is I also think there changing there name soon to Gonzalez Mexican grill as I seen that on the recept as well as they had a sign up inside, so if someone mentions that name that is here.

Excellent food. Equally good service. The fish taco was fresh and delicious. Margarita was house made and refreshing. My blackened chicken burrito was spicy and tasty. I really like Mexican food and this place hit great on all fields. Highly recommend this place. Fair prices and clean dining room. I’m going back for sure!!!! ☝

My husband and I brought our granddaughter for an early dinner after seeing all the great reviews. No one spoke English and the one waitress that was working, waited on customers that came in after us as obviously, we were the only customers that didn’t speak Spanish. After about 25 minutes and eating our complimentary chips and dip, we left. Won’t return.

Small restaurant that seemed family owned. The staff was extremely friendly. They seemed short staffed but made up for delays by having a great positive attitude. The blender wasn’t working for margaritas and they were out of several dessert options. Great large portions!

I’ve always loved this place! However, since they switched owners their food is BETTER THAN EVER! I ordered a combination trio with the Verde chicken tamale, beef chile relleno & a beef enchilada and it’s AMAZING! My son had a quesadilla and double rice. Their mojitos are to die for !! And they now give you 3 dips for your chips, all are amazing !! Highly recommend this restaurant! By far the best Mexican food in the Fox Valley area! Also in the summer they have outdoor seating available . Customer service is always genuine and friendly . Loveeeee
