Today was our first visit and there will be many more! The food was excellent and the service matched equally. First impressions are everything and it was a Platinum star experience. We sampled many different things, and everything was superb. The only thing I would change next time is to come with a bigger appetite☺️

I was seriously impressed with El Sabor Latino in Joliet. The menu is huge, which I love, but every single thing I tried was on point. The sazón was perfect—everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. I loved every bite of my meal, from start to finish. If you’re looking for flavorful Latin food that truly delivers, I 1000% RECOMMEND this place. I’ll definitely be coming back, can’t wait to try everything from their menu!

To begin with, the food isn’t very good. For a Venezuelan-Colombian restaurant just starting out in the area, it’s incredibly expensive. Where else have you paid over $70 for two sandwiches, two arepas, and 3 empanadas? I grew up in the Chicagoland area and i have been to various Hispanic restaurants: Puerto Rican, Cuban, Colombian, Argentinian, Salvadoran Mexican—you name it. They try to charge the same prices as a high-end Brazilian or Japanese steakhouse. To top it all off, there were other people behind us and we had ordered way before them, and they were served before we did until they completely forgot about our order, and we waited 45 minutes in the lobby. Also the young girl who took our order, either she was shy or she had no idea what I said. Because I literally told her I wanted a cup of rice and she said no. Plus, our food was to-go, and when I got home, I realized they hadn’t put the receipt in the bag and had forgotten the arepas. I don’t think this restaurant will last more than six months. And I’m a lifelong resident of Joliet. I don’t mean to badmouth anyone, but this is the worst place I’ve ever been. On the other hand, the only good thing about that place was a young man who was selling chicha drinks for 7 dollars, and that was the tastiest thing I had, which is crazy. So no. I do not recommend this place.

Was there a few days ago. Got 2 TINY empanadas for $4.50 A PIECE, they were burnt and tasted burnt and disgusting. And they charged me $11!! This place is a joke. Save your time and go elsewhere!
