I took my mother and kids here and we loved it. We are of Guatemalan descent and the food taste just like how my mother or grandmother would cook. The portions are massive so come hungry. My kids are picky eaters but they loved this restaurant. You can tell everything was fresh like the tortillas and tostadas. This restaurant is very low-key and nothing fancy but the staff greet you like family. We will definitely go back.

Authentic delicious Guatemalan food, garnachas were exceptional, we had the family platter and it came with steak, chicken, pork, rice and beans and boy was that YUMMY! Waitress was very kind and friendly. Service is a bit on the slower so not somewhere I would go with a large party or if we are VERY hungry. Other than that, I most definitely will be returning !

Let me just say that I’m giving it 1 star because I can’t give it a lower rating. Went there Saturday February 9 and the experience was horrible. First of all the place had no heat and I had to stay ALL through the party with my coat on. Secondly, the restaurant wasn’t prepared to receive us and they had shut down restaurant to receive us late and continued to the party without sweeping and mopping the floors. Thirdly, there was only one bathroom to attend all the guests. FYI, they tried to fix the toilet that was clogged while we were there and everytime someone opened the door, we would receive the toxic fumes. Fourthly, no organization whatsoever. Also, appetizers were very poorly distributed. One plate for ALL tables and started from table 1 and when it got thorough the rest they was hardly anything to hand out and was already cold, note that there was no heat. Last but least, they charged extra for coffee and it tasted like tar. Don’t waste your money there.

My first time was literally tonight! I was craving rice and chicken and we passed this place on our way home. Made my brother turn around because I wanted some! The yellow rice with like mixed vegetables ( mushroom, carrot, green beans etc ) was SUPER DELICIOUS! I also got some of the baked chicken, plantain & macaroni salad. My family and I enjoyed it so much! Really good flavors! Going back tomorrow for lunch! Lol I love it! ☺
