What an awesome find. The food was soooo delicious. I had the carne asada and it was perfect. I had to try the sope too and wow, so yummy. My hubby got enchiladas and the green salsa on top was also amazing.

Loved this small hole in the wall restaurant. The service was friendly and the place was very clean. So clean that we thought that it was newly opened, but the owner said they’d been there for 3 years! My partner had the Sopes–never heard of it–but he loved it. It was a mixture of spices, ground beef, and potatoes on a thick crispy corn tortillas. I enjoyed the enchiladas that were NOT smothered in red sauce and cheese. Overall a very pleasant dinner after traveling for hours.

Wow. The place is really clean, cool temperature and staff is very welcoming. THE FOOD IS FABULOUS! The best Mexican food I had in US period.
I feel bad because I just ordered 2 tortas, should have ordered 4!
I recommend stoping here no matter how busy you are!

The food is very authentic and close to home. I look forward to more from this restaurant. The salsa is something else.

Very nice and clean. The food was fresh and tasty. We had four different players and all of them were great. The carne asada was particularly good. Large parking lot so it is easy to park even with a trailer.

Picked this place on the strength of many 5-star reviews — a perfect example of the unreliability of that strategy.
The good news: The homemade corn tortilla on the carne asada taco was great, though the .25 up-charge for cheese was off-putting. Salsa was good (very spicy and thin). The sausage and egg burrito was excellent, but I had to add left over salsa.
The bad news: Bagged chips. Ordered a chille relleno a La carte and was charged the full plate price of 12.99 — a surprisingly bad deal, considering that the chili relleno was extremely greasy, came with no sauce or cheese, deep fried with a very greasy taste. No coffee refills (to be fair, the waitress worked alone during the lunch hour — but that’s not my problem) and my request for water yielded a generic bottle at $1.50.
Overall, not a good value for the money. Not sure how you justify $12.99 for an a la carte plain chilie relleno. Uggghhhh. With many restaurant choices in this town, won’t be back.

This place was great! I got the sopes and they were amazing. Everyone else’s food was great too and the red sauce was spicy and delicious. My friend got the carne asada and she loved the cactus that it came with. Everything was very clean and the waitress was very nice.

The cafe de olla is delicious and a heartwarming touch on the menu. We stopped by for breakfast while on a road trip. We had huevos rancheros and huevos con chorizo. It was delicious, and satisfying. The service was welcoming, friendly and personal.
