Well served portions, reasonably priced, with a lot of food options. We ordered carne asada tacos, chorizo tacos, chicken tacos, and a steak quesadilla. We ordered fries and tostones as sides. Everything was made fresh to order, our tacos and quesadilla were filled generously with meat. The chorizo taco was a bit dry and the carne could have been a seasoned a bit more. But over all, I would recommend and come back.

Truelly disappointing! I really wanted to try then ! Today I ordered for my lunch birria tacos. I paid for extra cheese and guacamole and asked for salsa verde. NNO EXTRA CHEESE WAS ADDED, DID NO GET MY GUACAMOLE ON MY ORDER AND GOT RED SPICY SAUCE INSTEAD IF SALSA VERDE!!

This is my favorite local restaurant, hands down! This time I got the best breakfast and it was an excellent way to start the day! As always all the food served is high quality, delicious, with generous portions, and cost effective as well! I waited 45 minutes for a burrito and street corn. Not worth the wait; the portion was big but food isn’t seasoned well. The sauces helped a little. I wasn’t looking for anything free but when you see someone has been waiting that long at least offer a drink and apology not just say your food is coming. I was ready to cancel my order and go somewhere else but she said it was coming out now. I love cheese but the cheese to corn ratio needs to be adjusted. I would have like to try the birria tacos but they aren’t so speeding after what I tasted. I can’t say they were nasty because people were in and out, I will just say this place isn’t for me and I won’t be returning.

Unfortunately I don’t have any photos to post because the food was too delicious not to eat it as soon as I got it home; but next time I’ll take some photos! This is by far my new favorite local restaurant. High quality Hispanic fusion cuisine; the food is cooked fresh to order and everything I’ve tried so far is delicious. All the food served has a generous portion size and is cost effective as well! The atmosphere inside is very welcoming and everyone who works there is equally as welcoming as the atmosphere inside the restaurant itself. If you haven’t eaten here yet, I highly recommend you start to! I promise, you won’t be disappointed, you’ll be very satisfied and happy! Gratzie! Will be ordering again soon!

Overall feels like an Instagram trap to be honest. The decorations and colors are good for pictures but the food was lackluster, almost flavorless. The service was alright, but it felt like I kept interuptting their chats (or putting on makeup) to get help. Their burrito was what we got and it was all style no substance. The best thing they had was their dessert and their drinks. They can seat about 20 and it’s all inside.

Rucon Burger – Packed with massive flavor: BBQ + pineapple sweetness. 9.0/10
Tortas Sandwich – Steak + guac were on point, but the bread could’ve been toastier. 8.3/10
Arepa – Chicken, chicharrón, sweet plantain, secret sauce. Super messy, but very good. 8.8/10
Birria Combo – Final boss mode: sweet cinnamon‑tinted shell + LOADS of cheese. 9.5/10
Overall? El Rucon brought serious flavor, great variety, and vibe — you’ve got to try these yourself.

The most disgusting Mexican food I’ve ever had! The churrasco was NOT churrasco cut. It was hard n dry with zero flavor. The rice was mushy and the beans were so nasty. The guacamole has no flavor or seasoning no onion nothing. Do not eat here! The service is horrible. They wouldn’t give me a refund when I called unless I drove the food back!

I was trying to rate the food truck, but I couldn’t so because they are the same I came down here to do the Restaurant.
The girls at the food truck were nice and quick, it wasn’t that busy at night so I got my food.
No many choices of meat, steak, pastor, chicken and choriso. I tried one of each, but the size were good, but the taste wasn’t that great at all, the steak looks more like ground beef, pastor looks good not flavor, chicken looks when you cooked it on water and then just chop it, choriso was alright.
Place looks clean, the music was alright(radio station). I like the small truck place but yes I was expecting more flavor on food for all the nice add and instagrams stories that I saw, I was exited it. Maybe in the future I will it another try for now I will wait.
