I enjoyed this restaurant the food was plentiful and great. We had a Margarita one peach the other pomegranate served in a 16oz glass so again plentiful. Our server was very buzzy but so willing to please. All the food I saw being served looked wonderful.

OMG I’m not one to complain unless the place really is horrible and this place was just that!!! The service was horrible from the second we were seated by the cashier. Mind you a couple came in after us they were seated quickly and got their drinks and had their order taken before us! My dad had to flag the waiter down after 13 minutes just to get our order taken. Then another group of people came and the same thing ,service for them was quick and they also got their drinks before we had received ours. ( I felt like we were being discriminated against, we are a Latin family and all the folks coming in were white) My dad had to flag down the waiter again to see when our food was coming. They made no effort to come check on our table at all the whole time we were there. They finally brought the food out after another long wait, and let’s just say the only good food there were the chips. My mom ordered Menudo with hominy, and it was hard like it wasn’t thoroughly cooked. My dad ordered a plate of carne con chile rojo and rice and beans, and the meat was ridiculously salty. Again, my dad had to flag them down to get the check. This was just a bad bad experience if I could do zero stars, I would!!

Went there for the first with my sister and best friend. The food tasted really good but I ordered the torta and instead of it being full of meat like I’m use to they put the thinnest piece of carne asda I’ve ever seen in my life in it and it was like eating a a sandwich without the meat because it was so full of lettuce and bread. I was very disappointed. The beans and rice were amazing. If I ever return I’ll never order that again. I would not recommend anyone to order that dish. Everything else looked good though!

My family and I came here for lunch today and I am a little upset. I ordered the mole poblano and it was terrible, I ate my rice and beans but couldn’t stomach the mole. My husband and son finished their meal no problems with their meals so when our server came over my husband asked the waiter if there was anyway we could just pay for a side of beans and rice since the mole was no good. Server went to get the manager and the manager refused to come to our table and had the server bring our bill and let us know we still had to pay for the entire meal… my husband is a manager of a restaurant in riverbank so now he’s upset at how unprofessionally this manger handled the situation so here I am posting pictures of sticky soggy chicken mole on one side and hard chewy chicken on the other.
