I have to question the sanity of anyone who finds this food palatable. Beyond that, if they find it enjoyable well then we must’ve already been visited by extraterrestrial beings because no living being on this Earth could ever say that. Do yourself a favor and try El Orito or just about anywhere but here. If you want to go somewhere with nice festive tables then you’ve chosen the right place. If you want to enjoy the food placed on the table go ANYWHERE else.

I ate at this restaurant with my family once before in the past. When I wanted to order my entrees in a specific fashion (with some items with or without them on the main dish). The waiter that served us looked at me as if I was an idiot- which I assure you I am not. The food was great in the end- but the service could have been a lot better.The atmosphere was great and it looked like customers were having a great time. I wasn’t however because of the waiter.

Very tasty food and excellent service. They have a lot of vegetarian options right in the menu. Colorful interiors, caring staff and kid-friendly atmosphere are the top things I’ll remember from here. We ordered the mandarin jarritos, some fresh Guacamole (toddler approved delicious) taco salad, veg fajitas and veg enchilada. The lunch portions are perfect and their in house salsa was the right amount of spicy.

Tonight was my first time as a patron at this restaurant, and it’ll be a one and done for me. It really boils down to the prices not being justified by the quality and portion sizes. I was with a large party and several people were unhappy with their meals. I had the birria tacos and the meat was rather bland and the tortillas were a bit soggy, lacking a nice crunchy bite (the consume I was given with the tacos was also disappointing as it lacked depth and was transparent in color). My meal also came with a small, mediocre side of rice and beans… $19.49 for this is baffling (& all of their their 3 taco dinners are $19 and up. Take a look at the menu in general and you’ll see how overpriced they are). The chips consistently came out cold and unsalted as well, and the alcoholic drinks were very inconsistent. Several members of my party had to send the drinks back to be remade. I’d suggest other establishments such as Cozumel or Muchos Buenos where the quality and portion sizes are much more impressive while also being quite a bit cheaper.
