Food so good I had to get my phone out to take a pic of it. I had the Mexican Special plate or something along those lines. Very yummy steak, rice and bean plate with tortillas and a drink for a little over $10. I am not local and this was a good find! Will return!

The food was very flavorful. The waitress was very pleasant. The downfall of this restaurant is that they nickle and dime you on everything else. Only one basket of chips and salsa per 4 people or 2 for eight people, extra chips are $2.50 per basket and extra salsa is $1.50. They don’t have hot sauce on the table and if you want some it is $1.10 for hot and mild is $0.95.

I love the chips and salsa and go often just to buy and take home. I love the food as well. The restaurants always have cheerful decor. I love the furnishings. This one does seem a little more intimate then the other location. Not as busy and noisy. Ample parking. Take-out window as well. Usually find that there is no one there to help so I end up going in. Pricing is good as well.

Like every other restaurant I’ve visited lately, they are short of help. We had to seat ourselves. After that the poor waitress did her best. I had the fajitas. A little over cooked but still tasty. My niece had the enchiladas…she said they were excellent.

For quite possibly the first time in 25-odd years, our service for my cousin’s birthday dinner was subpar (being kind), which is absolutely abnormal. Instead of our chips and salsa being delivered to our table immediately, I had to request them – twice. Having regularly patronized El Rodeo Lemoyne since it opened under the name Mi Mariachi, this was a real letdown. In addition, the portion size of the “complimentary” chips and salsa is now far less that half, perhaps 1/3 – that they were not long ago. Our dinners were superb – high quality as always and decent portions, unlike the (homemade/cheap as hell) chips and salsa. We went all out and ordered a lot of food, which we were subsequently given serious shade, which was not cool. This was NOT good-natured teasing, which I would’ve appreciated and taken in stride. I sincerely hope the lapse in service quality was just that…a lapse. If it happens again, I will speak to management, and I am the furthest thing from a confrontational Karen. I detest (bordering on phobia) conflict of any kind and avoid it all costs. Please do better, ER. You’ve been my (and my parents’ when they were alive) favourite restaurant for nearly 30 years.

I thought id give it a second try . I got a cold burrito. And the chicken was completely hard. My tortilla was so gooey i through it all out. It took 15 mins for it to deliver from their resturant to my house.i dont understand how its cold as it is. Unfortunately 0 stars an never again.

Flor is fantastic. She is great conversation, attentive server and makes you feel welcome. We drive the extra time instead of eating close and getting not that great of service at other places. Mango pie is great.

This chain used to be a reliable go to for us. Unfortunately, that all changed today. The excuse for meals we received for take out was so incredibly disappointing. The portion sizes reminded me of something a child would be served, and the lack of effort put into the dishes was even more heartbreaking. Fully loaded nachos were chips with refried beans and melted cheese? No meat, no jalapeno or any greens? What happened? Not even going to go into the molcajete……Never again. We will spare the embarrassment of photos. On a side note- great salsa and chips, thats the 1 star.
