Good food and service. I really liked the carne asada (steak) tostadas. Steak was juicy and tender. Nice and quick pit stop off of I-65, easy access and parking. Recommend paying with cash, or you may get @1.00 service charge when using a card.

Delicious, fresh Mexican food. I got the Enchi Rey, cheese enchiladas, and my husband got the steak Chimichanga. They were excellent. Their chips and salsa are also fantastic. Love this restaurant. Will definitely go again. And again. Highly recommend this place. The service was also very good.

Really great Fajitas! Ate here on Sunday and we had a really good time. There salsa was delicious, not bland or too spicy. Their portions were really generous too. I had the Cozumel Fajitas and they were amazing, and way too much food to eat at once.

Generous portions for carry-out. Vegetarian Plate A included a large bag of chips + bowl of salsa; big bean burrito and cheese enchilada; with full-size tostada. Tasty and filling. Staff was courteous and helpful; food ready in minutes. All this for under $12 with tax!

The food was great, the service was good, the prices and portions were definitely appropriate. Chips and salsa are free with the food, good salsa too. Got the guacamole, would rate a 7-8/10. Definitely a place to go again.

Visited 11/23/22 order the EL Rodeo Taco Salad. It was too soggy for me. Maybe because of all the meat juices combined together. I couldn’t taste the seasonings, lettuce or the cheese.

I was waiting on my hotel room. I stopped in for a margarita. Server did not want to give me chips and salsa since I was not ordering food. I said I’m ordering a $16 dollar margarita? She reluctantly gave me chips and salsa and provided horrible service.

Service was slow, food was bland and dry, no drink refills, and prices have sky rocketed the last few years. So many other options in Lafayette for good Mexican food – this restaurant is no longer worth a visit.

1/5 of the way through a 27 oz. Margarita and I’m feeling good! Heavy hitter drinks and the best taquitos I have ever had. Best part is they are within walking distance (stumbling distance) of a bunch of hotels. El Rodeo is more than an 8 second ride, this will be my home away from casa any time I’m in town.

El Rodeo has fantastic food. They are appropriately spacing out seating and wearing masks through the pandemic while being particular about cleaning in between seatings. The food was delicious with great pricing. Would easily come back again.
