Great restaurant!! I’ve previously only really eaten at El Sol whenever craving Mexican food but we decided to switch it up and try out El Rodeo. Happy to report it was a great decision!! Seriously don’t underestimate this place! The food is excellent. I love the colors/decorations it just makes you happy when you sit down at a table. The staff are always SO kind and service is so quick.

El Rodeo in Mechanicsburg is an exceptional value and our server was just amazing! Really like the food and prices are pretty reasonable compared to a few years ago. Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. Used to eat lunch frequently at the Carlisle location but haven’t been much during past year. Definitely going back soon.

Food was fine. Servers weren’t really checking on us. I wanted to ask for extra napkins and other items and we didn’t get checked on so it was very slow service. Where the they were just socializing and then they were waiting on Hispanic customers so it felt like it was it a bias because they kept talking to them instead of checking on their other tables.

Friendly staff, but it did take a little longer than usual to get seated and get our drinks even though it seemed really slow. The food was exactly what you would expect from a typical Mexican restaurant, and the waitress was very friendly. The salsa was very good and the fajitas were seasoned well.
I wouldn’t have an issue coming back here, but there wasn’t really anything that stuck out as being special over any other Mexican restaurant. If you’re craving your standard Mexican cuisine, this could be a solution for you!

Service was good, lunch was pretty good too. My only real complaint is that the chips they bring out to the table were not good. They were really thick and unusual for a chip and not warm at all like most other restaurants.

Just so bad, and all we did was stop for a margarita and some chips and salsa. They literally screwed up everything we asked for. Asked for water. No ice. I got ice and a lime. We asked for queso. They brought me some kind of milky substance that was called cheesy dip. I pointed to the queso on the menu and she said oh. We asked for two patron perfect margaritas which according to their menu has Grand Marnier and patron Citron in it. We got served margaritas but they don’t have Grand Marnier or patron Citron at the bar. This is definitely not a place worth going to. Save your money. Go somewhere else.

Me and my grandpa shared a big fajita for two meal and it was pretty good. You can wrap up the meats and make little tacos with the tortillas they give. All the meats were fresh and cooked well. Definitely recommend the 2 person fajita meal if you have someone to share it with.
Also got churros for dessert. They were ok, but not quite as fresh as I would like. Mostly crunchy, not very soft on the inside.

Ate here 2 times in the last 2 days, Awesome Food, from the Salsa & chips to the fajitas to the Nachos and Chirizo, to the chicken Enchiladas, and great service too., will recommend to anyone.
