Overall good, I went with my boyfriend, he ordered Aeropuerto and I ordered Ceviche Mixto, then as sides Causa de pollo and French Fries, he liked his food my ceviche the flavor was not bad unfortunately the seafood had a very fishy flavor and the causa didn’t have too much flavor but was fine

El Rocoto is hands down the best Peruvian food in Salt Lake City! The dishes are incredibly fresh and authentic — we had the ceviche, pollo a la brasa, lomo saltado, and churrasco con papas fritas, and everything was delicious. The portions are generous, and the service is fast and attentive. The restaurant is clean, beautiful, and well-run by the owners themselves. I was pleasantly surprised with the abundance of flavor. WOW. I got the fish soup it was out of this world good. A must get. Full of fish and bursting with flavor. Even the chicken and rice meal which seems so basic was delicious served with many sauces to enhance the already fantastic flavor. Will definitely be going back for more.

I called at 5:48pm what time thy close and they told me 7pm. So I mention we would arrive at 6:14 and the lady said okay. We got to the place they gave my family and I bad looks and was told at 6:14 to order our food to go because they close at 7. What kind of business tells their customers they can’t dine in during the business hours. Very unprofessional and a lot of laziness. I will never come back to this place. Sanguchon accepts customers even if it’s 5-10 mins to close.
