This is not my first venture to El Rio. After a visit today, my thoughts have remained pretty much the same. The food is average, prices are pretty good. My service today was average at best. Overall, it’s a good restaurant, but nothing super spectacular.

Best Mexican restaurant we’ve encountered in a very long time. All of the food was seasoned well and delicious. Service was prompt and very friendly. Beer selection was good, priced well and ice cold. Definitely our new go to for Mexican food!

I got the mixed ACP and my husband got the burrito mexicana. Both were very good. My steak in my acp mixed was a lil overcooked but not enough to send anything back. My husband asked for zucchini to be added and it wasnt abd they forgot his shrimp as well but they quickly fried some up and brought it all to him and apologized. No harm done. Plenty of food to fill us up.

Best Food Ever.. We got quite a large to go order and I couldn’t have been happier. The food was fresh, hot and exactly as delicious as it looks. We had never eaten here but was recommended by a friend so we did and I wished we had been before now WE will definitely return. Can’t wait to visit and dine in ❤

I personally prefer the 220 location. This wasn’t bad. The food just tasted a bit old and the shrimp still had the veins in them.

We have noticed a change at this location lately but tonight was bad enough to warrant this review. The prices have gone up, which they have all over, the part that’s frustrating is that the quality of the food has declined. Some of the dishes are totally different now as well. Our tacos tonight were served cold and with very little meat. We used to really love this place but after multiple disappointing trips we will not be returning.

The last 2 times I’ve ordered takeout (ACP) my boyfriend and I were both disappointed. both times it was dry, the chicken was a little crispy around the edges and it just didn’t have the flavor it normally has.
