My husband eats here once a week and RAVS about it. I finally went today and I see why!

Tacos al pastor were amazing!…fresh tortillas….get it as they come, with all the toppings. And of course horchata.

I wait for the taco tents to open for great tacos…but now that I found rinconsito…they will be my go to place!

Great salsa bar with carrots and all the salsas that are actually flavorful and spicy.

I would just like to leave a glowing (and slightly funny) review of this establishment’s commitment to customer service! I went in and ordered a burrito with “bean and cheese and rice inside” and I got it home and it looked like it had potato in it. It took me a moment to figure it out, but I believe what they thought I ordered was “bean and cheese and FRIES inside” I am a notorious mumbler, and it was very busy, so the confusion is completely understandable. It explains why it took a second to figure out what to ring me up under haha!

Anyway, it was actually quite good, and being pregnant, I find it particularly hilarious that this could actually have been some weird craving possibility. I applaud the employees for going above and beyond for their customers

Honestly I have had some terrible Mexican to-go food from other restaurants but this is NOT the case here. I got breakfast which can be a gamble but my eggs were cooked perfectly, everything was hot when I got to my house. The chilaquiles were not mushy. Everything was PERFECT. 5 stars. I also enjoy dining in here.

We absolutely love this restaurant!! The Pollo Asado dish is our favorite!! It is extremely flavorable and cooked to perfection! The portion is large. We always have leftovers and we love using it for breakfast the next day! We just added eggs and have another meal! The service is always so friendly and fast. And the salsa bar is over the top amazing with fresh Pico!!

Kinda disappointed. My birria tacos had chunks of meat. Not shredded. The consummate was very flavorless, oily and watery. The meat has no flavor in it also. The tacos were bigger than the normal size. Also my lime has no juice to squeeze out.

It’s not like it was before. Inflation drove up prices and decreases the portions of food. I appreciate the workers and cooks, but having a chain restaurant with people who give home cooked meal type of feeling takes away from the workers can do.

El Rinconcito in Puyallup has been a local eatery that I hadn’t visited in the 2.5 years I’ve lived in the area but my kids said that it was worth a visit so I decided to give it a try. With a wide variety of eating choices, I went with their street tacos al pastor. The food arrived quickly with just enough time to self-serve a small assortment of their different salsas. The tortillas were freshly homemade and the meat was very tender and flavorful with just the right amount of savoriness and sweetness and with a drop of freshly squeezed lime, the right amount of sourness to brighten the food. The salsa was very good with a good amount of heat but not too much. I’ll admit, I also tried both their enchiladas regulares as well as their enchiladas Mexicana, both of which were just as delicious as their tacos, but unfortunately, I ate them before realizing that I forgot to take a picture.

All in all,  El Reconcito was a nice experience with friendly and prompt service, delicous food, and a variety of additional salsa. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you’re in the mood for good mexican cuisine late at night as this location is open until 12am daily and even later on Friday and Saturday night.

I did not know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. This is set up almost like a fast food restaurant where you order at the counter but then they bring the food to you. The price was good and the flavor blew me away. Will absolutely come here again
