Got the quesabirria plate (2 quesabirria tacos with consome and a drink). The meat (beef) was not flavored, could pin point the difference of the cheese, beef and tortilla. The cheese was heavily put on, the tortillas were soggy and falling apart. The consome tasted like au jus for French dips.
My partner had the burrito chipotle asada meat, the sauce was not spicy and bright red, not what would usually come with a chipotle named sauce. Tasted very tomato sauce like Heinz tomato sauce, not an ounce of chipotle or chile flavor, the asada was shredded and beef there was no flavor or taste to it.

Great meal today! Tried the Churro Plate for the first time and it’s better than pie! Chicken Enchilada Plate and 4 Beef tacos. Sadly they were all out of chupacabra — but maybe next time.

I called Rinconsito Restaurant at 11:40 PM on 9/3/25 to place a phone order. The restaurant closes at 12:00 AM, so I thought I had plenty of time. When I asked if I could order, the girl who answered said she had to check with her manager first. She came back and told me I could order as long as I picked it up before 12 and if I was actually going to come. I explained that I was only about 7 minutes away.
Then she told me they would not make my food until I got there. This completely defeats the purpose of placing a phone order, which is to call ahead so the food is ready when you arrive. I don’t have time to sit in the drive-thru waiting for food they could have already started. At that point, I told her to cancel my order. She then tried to convince me by saying the food I ordered doesn’t take long to cook, I am on a timed lunch and do not have time to waste by waiting on food that could’ve been prepared as soon as I ordered.
Very disappointing experience! If they aren’t going to prepare food until you arrive, there’s no point in offering phone orders that late.

Always good!! Ordered the Pollo Asado, 1/2 of a chicken, with rice, beans, and the best grilled jalapeño,, so good, ( not to hot) Chicken was grilled perfectly, such a nice mouth feel, and taste!! The beans, rice, and chicken wrapped in a heavenly tortilla, put it over the top, with a quick bite of the jalapeño (ahhhh perfection achieved) As always just the nicest people, that put the dining experience over the top!!! If your reading this, and never tried El Ringconsito, your in for some of the best Mexican food Yakima has to offer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very disappointed ordered a side of rice and beans and the plate was almost empty seems like it was a small scoop of rice and beans and it came in a big plate! They could at least fill up the plate and make it worth what people pay for it
