After spending $42 on a mediocre lunch, we left hungry. Portion sizes are small and prices are high. Plantains are frozen from a bag, beans and rice lacked flavor. The tacos tasted really bad and had minimal pieces of meat in them. The steak in the fajita was tasty. Not a place I would ever return to.

Went here today, ordered red snapper. Salad was hot because otvwas in the same container with the hot fish and rice. Fish was wayyyy overcooked, to the point that some of it was inedible. $30 down the drain.

I must say I love the rice and the food has flavor. Only problem was I had a plate filled with bell pepper and onions and tiny tiny tiny amount of steak and shrimp. Which is why I ordered steak and shrimp fajitas. Main course is important. But I did enjoy the flavor and rice. Could use improvement on fluff and filler portion. I can go home and cook all the bell peppers and onions I want for less than 5 dollars. But I will say repeat customer and satisfied customers create more business. Inflation is hard on everyone so hopefully it gets better in the future. But I did enjoy the flavors. I’ll probably return and maybe order something different give then another chance. I do prefer small businesses and support them. Authentic food forsure.

Food was absolutely delicious. I originally lived in Wheaton where Salvadorian food was prevalent so I always try to seek out some Salvadorian food since moving to Southern MD. Came here and had a great meal! Pupusas were awesome and the tacos had some excellent flavor to the meat. Highly recommend!

The food at this restaurant is delicious. We have been trying to find other places to eat in La plata that aren’t chain restaurants and this place is wonderful. We used online ordering for takeout, which was easy to use. Don’t let any of the negative reviews stop you from trying this place out. I guarantee that if you’re open to any food that isn’t typical American/Americanized food you’ll make this part of your takeout/dine in rotation.
