The food here is delicious! This place is a gem in Fort Wayne. If you have never had a pupusa, this is a great place to try it. The food is also very affordable. It’s not too far from the University of St Francis and is a great cheap place for students to eat at.

The restaurant is very small and parking is street parking.

This was our first time trying Pupusa and it was good. It was nice to try something different. The staff were friendly and attentive. They were out of Jarritos and the drink she recommended was very good. There is on street parking and a cross walk right by the restaurant. So glad we tried it and we will be back

Bought asada tacos and they all had what looked like worms. Will not be going back, if I could rate this place a zero I would!!!!

Can’t go wrong with pupusas. The garlic has no discernable taste, but was still good. The kids love them, especially with beans. Also I enjoyed the sauces and jarred “salad” that was included.

Omg, just really good food!

We are visiting Fort Wayne from Michigan to view the amazing eclipse, and we were HUNGRY afterward!
There are a few papusa places we go to at home that we really enjoy, and El Rinconcito Papusas is now on our list for out of town fare.
We had the fried plantain and papusas revueltas, and we’re blown away with how good everything was! From the big jar of salad for our papusas to the crema served with the plantain, the entire meal was delicious and brought to us with a smile from the friendly staff. Thank you!

Delicious and authentic! Their veg options are amazing and don’t make you feel like you’re missing out on the “real” thing. Cozy spot with a great menu- wish I lived closer!

Got carry-out a couple weeks ago. Over all the food was good, but the papusas and tostones (plantains) were pretty greasy. I think maybe the deep fryer just needs to be hotter. The papusas we had were chorizo, asada (steak), chicharron (pork), ayote (squash), and spinach. The chorizo and chicharron had good flavor, but the other 3 could have used more filling. The tostones were awesome (despite being greasy) because a lot of them were heavily caramelized — so much so they were a bit chewy which I count as a plus! For dessert we had an order of flan and it was the best of everything… I’ll be getting that every time! On the side was sour cream, red and green salsa, and a homemade slaw. One of the salsas was pretty spicy and the homemade slaw was one of the hottest things I have ever eaten. I have no idea what they spiced it with, but watch out!

Love this place every time I go. The papusas are delicious and very filling! Very inexpensive, but sort of slow when busy. Make some time for it. Will continue to go back!

Excellent food! I had the Plato Loco and everything was great. The pupusas were excellent as were the empanadas, rice, etc.
