We usually enjoy breakfast at this restaurant on weekends, but our recent takeout experience was very disappointing. In a hurry, we ordered from the window instead of dining in. We got two pastries, a fried empanada, and two cortaditos. The pastries were burnt and overcooked, and the cortaditos were cold. The empanada was soaked in oil, making it inedible; even the napkins were drenched. To top it off, the attitude of the lady at the window was horrible. While I appreciate the convenience, I’ll be sticking to dining in for a better experience next time.

A close friend of mine took me here to lunch as I enjoy Cuban food that I don’t get to have it that often. We ordered empanadas and they were delicious & fresh. I had palomilla steak with Moros and tostones. The steak was too thin, overcooked and ok but not like other Latin restaurants. The moros & tostones were fresh and cooked perfectly. Lastly the Cuban toast was pressed too hard and rock hard. The waitress was nice & helpful. I would like to go here again and give them another try in the future, 3 stars.

Food could be a little better in flavor. I ordered oxtail and it was cold i had to tell them to re heat it but the atmosphere and the staff are very good so maybe they have better cooks different days i do t know .

This place has gone so down in quality.. from the poor kitchen quality of the bland tasting food to the lack of customer service and poor attitude at the window… eating inside isnt as bad of an experience… but to be honest there are better places more deserving of the hard earned money of the community… poor representation of Cuban cuisine in Miami. This review is only of the Kendall location in the hammocks. The other locations are much different.

Omg. This place was awesome. Start to finish everything was amazing. The waitress knew the details of the dishes we asked about.
