Tacos were yummy, the pastor was just a little dry. The loaded fries looked amazing. I plan to try those next time

A lot of one-star reviews are emotionally charged. Customers get bad customer service and give the lowest rating possible. Well, the customer service was fine. It’s a food truck. Take the order and out comes the food. The one-star is for the food itself. I would give it more stars if there were any redeeming factors whatsoever. TL;DR, hands-down these are the absolute worst “Mexican” tacos and rice I’ve ever had in my life and I’m 46. This is my 2nd time here. A few years ago I came and I remember not loving the place then. I’ve eaten lots of tacos from all over the place in Berkeley and elsewhere. I’ve had far better food at a run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant. In hindsight, I would have liked Taco Bell better then here. So, I did show up a bit after lunch time like 1:45, maybe 2-ish. And I get maybe the food isn’t quite as fresh. But late in the day food should still at least taste ok. Lets just start with the rice. Pretty dry rice. Zero vegetables. And it was just a light yellow color. Which I’ve seen before but is unusual. At least being yellow surely there is flavor. Nope, just yellow. It was the most bland, flavorless, dry rice I ever had. Ever. It was barely edible. One, maybe two, steps up from non-edible. I usually finish food even if it isn’t that great but I dumped it in the garbage after a few bites. Then theres the tacos. I ordered asada, pastor and chorizo I believe. All three dry and near tasteless. I’ve never had pastor with no flavor. No visible pineapple. The toppings were sparse. I think there were two cucumber slices and maybe one lime slice for all three. It was abysmal. To boot, there was something really hard I bit down on and just about tore my front gum apart. I had to pause until the pain subsided. The salsa…. pure fire. I can handle heat and I do like it but there is no way they are attracting the gringos and güeros with that lava. I put a little on. I will say, yes, that had flavor but my mouth was burning for a while. I obviously do not recommend the food here whatsoever. Not even in a pinch. Just go get some Taco Bell.

I wanted to like this place after seeing it so often, but the food was disappointing. The Sexy Burrito had almost no seasoning and tasted very plain. The torta had slightly more flavor, but overall everything felt flat and lacked personality. I may try it again someday, but it’s unlikely.

Love authentic street food. Tacos and burritos are hand made and fresh to boot. Burritos are huge. They don’t skip on the portions. Green sauce is my go to.

First time at this food truck and we were very pleased. The steak and chorizo burrito was huge and extremely tasty. The lady looked at me in disbelief when I asked for the spicy sauce. There was so much food, I had to split it into two meals!

Food trucks have stepped up their game a lot in the last several years. This one is definitely on the list for more visits.

Very very friendly staff, they speak mostly Spanish but there is absolutely no problems communicating specific requests. The best taco I’ve ever had, super reasonable price, HUGE burritos that more than fill me up, also incredible price. Something about the way the meat is seasoned is unbeatable. The green sauce is quite spicy, and very flavorful. I would highly recommend a burrito if you need to get full for $15

The reviews here are really good so I was honestly a bit surprised by my experience. I bought a glass bottled Coke a cola and it was expired. There was no flavor. It was completely flat. I got a Carne Asada burrito and I couldn’t eat half the meat there was too much connective tissue. Honestly, not feeling the best after my meal.

I do not like this food truck!!!!!!
The food really was very bad.
Pollo / chicken was cold and dry.
The tortilla was also cold and dried out with hard dry cheese in it.
Very small amount of chick inside. The tacos are the same!

Taco Bell has better food!!!
