The carne asada tacos are soooo good. My sister had the Al pastor tacos and those were delish too. PLUS, $10 for 3 tacos is such a deal for the amount of meat they put compared to other places who charge more for less meat! I’d love to try other menu items.

First time going after driving by for a long time. It was a Tuesday and I wanted tacos so I tried them and they were great, authentic and not the small tortillas. I thoroughly enjoyed my food. My new taco spot.

This place is way too tasty to not be slammed! I had 3 birria tacos and they were ooey gooey meaty and super tasty. The prices are exactly where they should be for what you get.
I’ll definitely be here again for lunch.
Oh yea, $2 taco tuesdays!!!

This was my first time here , i got Birria Tacos , the only reason why i gave it 4 starts its cuzz i paid 16$ for 3 tacos which is pretty expensive if you ask me . But besides that the tacos were AMAZING , so cheesy and flavorful the caldo was great in flavor i definitely recommend this place if your willing to give the money for it .

The only comment I will leave with you is that every time my wife and I order tacos from El rincon, we fa to take a photo for a review as we eat it as soon as it gets to our door. We have been living in downtown New Orleans the past 10 months and these are the best tacos in our opinion in town.

I picked up some tacos for lunch on my way to work. They were so good I stopped by again for dinner! Definitely plan to give this place some more business, I hope they stick around.
Their $2 Tuesday taco special is awesome. Great flavor and reasonable size.

I ordered the birria, al pastor, and carne asada tacos, as well as the chips and salsa and sides of beans and rice.
The tacos were all fantastic. The beans were not good, but the rice was very good. The chips and “salsa” made me think I was on an episode of PUNK’D. The salsa was just broth…I’ve been to a lot of authentic Mexican places, so I’ve learned to appreciate different salsas. But there is no way this stuff can pass as salsa. It was awful.
I will definitely be back for tacos and to try out other things on their menu.

Authentic, family operated mexician restaurant. I feel like I’m eating a home-cooked meal every time I visit. The sisters who manage the restaurant are always very attentive and personable. One of my favorite spots in Metairie.
