Working from out of state and found this gem. Everything was EXCELLENT!!!
Jalapeño mixed Fajitas: I typically don’t order fajitas, but the photo from a prior patron sold me on the fajitas. Excellent flavor. I also asked for extra jalapeños.
Side of guacamole: very creamy and a ton of flavor.
Chips and salsa: chips were light and crispy and the salsa was packed with a lot of flavor.
Staff was nice, professional, attentive, and very polite.
Only negative part of my visit was that it was a little on the warm side in the restaurant.
I have one more week here and with definitely be having another visit.

Ema was a great server. Very attentive. The margarita was nothing to write home about but definitely not the worst I’ve had. I did have 3 here if that says anything.
The chips and salsa were awesome. The salsa actually has onion and cilantro in it. Not just ground tomato like many other places.
The food was a bit dry, it did have decent flavor but I think next trip I’ll try the Hawaiian fajitas.

My brother’s choice for birthday dinner, all of our first time eating there. Service was exceptional, drinks were on point, food was amazing! The margaritas were so good, huge & strong, the beer was cold. We ordered fajitas to taco salad to plantains, everything was delicious! We all left so full, we will definitely return for more.

Came here for authentic Mexican and paid authentic prices…$21 for 4 tacos is ridiculous!!!! My quesadilla could have been made at home by my daughter and tasted better. They did have good salsa, that was about it. Don’t waste your time.

AMAZING food! Seriously one of the best places I’ve been to so far. I got the Steak Taco Salad and it was so well seasoned, cooked, and just overall tasty. I would come back more if I could! The pina colada was also very tasty <3 I cannot recommend this place enough. All of their food was just phenomenal! The chips and salsa were also super good, not too hot + not too mild. They also provided different spice levels of salsas for your meal. Such a good price for it too, I want to come back already!

Shrimp Fajitas was very good. Decent seasoning. The house sauces were need for the extra kick of heat and flavor. The Verde sauce was good. I loved the rojo sauce. The rice and beans were good. Just your typical authentic flavors. Regular margarita over ice was good.the Guacamole was exceptional. Probably in my top 3 ever. It was good lunch. My daughter felt the steak tacos were excellent. The ingredients tasted so fresh. The sour cream seemed fresh made.

Delicious hot and fresh authentic Mexican cuisine in a cool location with indoor and outdoor seating, wonderful staff who care. I personally get the tacos 9/10 times I visit (which is often) but I have also had almost everything else on the menu and nothing disappoints. The homemade sauces are both a slam dunk. As a traveler who eats out more than he should I can’t recommend El Rincon enough you gotta check this place out!!!

I went with a group of ten and our waitress (I believe her name was Maira) was SO KIND and accommodating. She accurately split our checks and was so great at serving our large group all ordering different items, flavors of margs, etc. She was so welcoming and just added to the experience of the delicious food and great atmosphere. Will definitely revisit whenever I’m in Covington.

We walked over to try out El Rincon Mexican Restaurant as I was craving authentic Mexican food. We were greeted and seated very quickly outside and the waitress brought us free chips and salsa within minutes. I looked at the menu and decided I wanted huevos rancheros with corn tortillas except this dish wasn’t even on the menu, but the server happily obliged my request. The food was served piping hot and it was delicious. If you happen to be near MainStrasse Village El Rincon Mexican Restaurant is three places down from the corner next to the ice cream shop. There’s outdoor seating, a fresh breeze and excellent fare. If you give this place a try, I’m sure your taste buds will be super happy.
