Had a bad experience in this restaurant, I was overcharged automatically for paying cash they put a fee on your receipt for a credit card fee. And I forgot my to go food bag because we did not finish our food that we ordered to eat there. Which we barely touched, and l I called when I realized when I got home, to see if I was able to go back for the food. That they had to throw it out in the garbage. I been a customer at the other location in Copiague for a while and nothing like this has ever happened to me. I am not happy at all of being over charged and having the food thrown out hours before closing time. It’s ridiculous! The waitress was not nice about the situation when I called either. Very careless.

I just had some great pupusas here today! I didn’t call to place my order but my pupusas came out way faster than I had anticipated. Great service from the ladies and plenty of tables available.

It’s our to go place. The food is excellent, as is the service. If you don’t want to spend a lot, you can stick to tamales and papusas.

We had three plates. Baliadas de carne. A bomb very delicious . Carne con cebollas y chiles verdes very delicious, but the beef soup omg . Gave me stomach pain, nausea it was old like they gave me the last bit of soup sitting all day on the stove . We use a slang to make ppl understand. Chuca a very disgusting thing when it sat all day warm and they just made it boiled to serve it fresh.

It was 8:30 they should never sell soup at that time if they had it sitting all day. So disappointing!!

The pupusas were absolutely delicious—fresh, cheesy, and full of flavor. I also tried the yuca frita with chicharrón, which was crispy and satisfying. However, the wait time was longer than expected, and the service felt a bit rushed. The atmosphere was cozy but a bit noisy, making it hard to have a conversation. Overall, the food made up for the minor inconveniences

Such an amazing vibe, while dining here. Had a good convo with my cousin, hanging out outside while the beautiful waitress served us our food. The food was delicious and I savored every bite. The price was also great for its neighborhood. Papusas are a must!

Yesterday I bought tamales for takeout and I waited more than 10 minutes for them to come out of the kitchen even though I didn’t want them warmed up and I called before driving over. All they needed to do was take them out of the fridge and put them in a bag. When I finally got them, they gave me the wrong amount so I had to wait another 5 minutes. And when I ate one the next day, I found a feather in one of the tamales. Even though they are tasty, there are better tamales at other Salvadorian restaurants. I wonder whether they cleaned the chicken properly since I found that feather. And all the tamales were poorly wrapped; the aluminum foil was very beaten up. My sister went another time and the refried beans were sour. I doubt I’ll return to this place because I don’t want to risk getting sick.
