Absolutely a great place for all of your favorites. We had tacos al pastor and caldo de res, and it was fantastic. The service was great! The beer was cold, and they have several salsa options for the chips if you ask. I will definitely be stopping in again. It is a very nondescript place next to the market. Please support them and stop by.

Definitely not going to be coming back, sour cream tasted expired and food tasted like 2 day old leftovers. Definitely better places to go for Hispanic food.

I walked in around 7 on a Friday night. There was no one else there. That should have been a sign for me to leave. The bartenders seemed nice enough. I got them each a shot of Hpnotiq. After a few drinks I knew it was time to leave before I was overcharged. That did not stop them from trying. They claimed it was a “mistake” and after that was fixed I was still charged $100 for a few drinks. Wow .. a little piece of advice. Don’t buy the bartenders drinks because they’ll want $15 for each one

The papusas here are amazing. They’re open late, the girls are cute, they have a live dj on the weekends, and the drinks are strong. It’s kinda hard to find but if you’re looking for a good place in the area for late night drinks and and some good friendly service this is the place. Not really a place for families tho. More of a place to get some drinks. They even have some beautiful live dancers on some weekends. I’m glad I found it, will definitely be back soon

The Peruvian rotisserie chicken was fantastic! For about 7 dollars you get 1/4 of chicken and two sides. I got rice and beans for my sides. All of the foods including the rice were flavorful. This place is kind of hidden but I am glad we found it. They served the chicken with two sauces which complimented the chicken perfectly. My husband and I agreed that this place is a keeper.

I don’t understand the bad reviews (though I note most of them aren’t about the food). The food here has always been good for us. Plus it’s next to pretty much the only Asian grocery in Fredericksburg.

When I walked in to the restaurant the place was completely empty. I ordered at grilled chicken quesadilla while expressing I just wanted chicken and cheese and nothing else in my quesadilla. It took roughly 15 minutes to get my food, which I wouldn’t mind if it tasted good. But when they brought it out, it had green peppers, tomato, red and yellow onions, etc. in it, even though the menu says the quesadillas only come with cheese. They didn’t say explicitly what else would be on the quesadilla, I would have made sure it didn’t come with that stuff if I knew what was normally on it. Even the parts that didn’t have veggies all over it weren’t that good.
I would give them zero stars if possible. The Peruvian place that was here before was not only better, but they never messed up my order.

Chicken was dry and hard to eat. They don’t make enough for the entire day. I felt awkward dining in. You get a lot of food for the cost. It just isn’t good though.

I got the lomo saltado, and it was very good. (This was my first time eating Peruvian.) My only criticism is that they weren’t able to serve about 30% of what was on the menu, but I definitely plan to return.

I’m new to the area and my family is originally from Peru. This place had great food and timing and hit that sweet spot for comfort food. Will definitely come back again!
