I would give it a 3.5 stars because the good was made to order and took a minute. But the mole enchiladas were soooo bomb!! Will get them again. The 2 aguas watermelon and melon was good too!. But this place had flies in sitting area and have to take care of that. BIG turn off, also needs some music or something. Just tooo quiet in this spot. Ladies were friendly and food made with care. Also the tortillas are home made tooo!

I’ve been there several times because I really enjoy their food, but lately there’s been some inconsistencies in what used to be my favorite food which are the Tortas. They’ve been very salty, they put a lot of salt in the avocados or idk where it comes from but you can feel the grains of salt in your teeth when chewing it. And today what made me come leave my review was that the tomatoes in my meal were rotten, as you can see in the picture. I’m pretty sure it was a mistake, probably they didn’t notice before cuting it.
The food is (or used to be) so good that it’s so sad that details like this ones are making the quality go down and us not wanting to go back. Hope they put more attention into those details…

Looks Can Be Deceiving
When you follow GPS directions to this spot, don’t worry—it might feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but you’re not lost.

The place is vibrant and full of colorful artwork, which gives it a unique, creative vibe. However, the layout could use improvement. There are so many tables and chairs packed in that it’s hard to walk around comfortably.

️ It’s essentially a food truck with a covered patio, so manage your expectations. While some reviews mentioned friendly staff, that wasn’t my experience. If you’re visiting with a group, be prepared for your food to arrive at wildly different times—one person could finish eating while others are still waiting.

As for the food, it’s fine, but nothing memorable.

-1000/NO STARS first time here. Never coming back. It was very dead. There was no one in there.
I just left this establishment and I’ve never ran into someone so rude. I ordered a torta. I specifically asked the girl what’s in it. She said tomato cheese onion I told her no tomato. I get my torta and it has beans. She NEVER told me it had beans. I’m deadly allergic to beans. I kindly asked the lady if I can get it fixed she was so rude about it and said yeah “right you’re allergic to beans” then proceeded to talk crap about me and huff and puff. I told her I rather have my money back because of how rude he was being to be. Then continued to say that anywhere else that I go they wouldn’t do this for me and that it’s my fault she’s loosing money. No it’s your fault you’re losing money because of your attitude!!! I even told her to check the cameras so she can see if her worker ever said “beans
” and she stayed quiet. I had no problem with her fixing it.
But because of how rude she was being I rather get my money back. Señora sea más sincera y a la mejor va tener más clientes. If you were nicer you’d problem have more clientele.
Also my cousins said her mole tastes really bad it has a sour smell. She threw them away.
My taco de lengua was supposed to have cilantro and cebolla. So if you do order food. Make sure to double

Just to add: I was reading the comments and someone else complained about the same lady I’m talking about. Honestly everyone was rude.

Super cool little spot. The food was delicious. Definitely authentic! You can smell the food from the moment you step out of your car in the parking lot. Highly recommend the gorditas, they are better than the ones I had in San Diego!

I ordered 3 Tacos Al Pastor (pork) and 3 Tacos Cecina (beef) on corn tortillas to go. The order came with a generous amount of cilantro, chopped white onions, radish slices, and even some grilled onion and grilled jalapeno pepper. It was perfect! The beef and pork meat were cooked perfectly, and they were not greasy and not dry. So good! Each taco was served in 2 corn tortillas. A small bag of yummy roasted nuts and seeds was included in the order.

The lady serving at the window has the most beautiful voice. What a treat to listen to her sing as she prepared the meal.

There is plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating. This will be a regular place for me to visit and I’m ready to try other things on their menu.
Edit: I visited again and it was so different. The singing lady was not there. The food was not as good as before, but it was decent. The new ladies just are not the same. I was bummed.

Our experience was with a group of 8. When we walked in we were not greeted at all even thought there was a lady (worker) in the dining area talking to a women customer that was there. It was our first time eating there so we didn’t know how it worked she never bothered to let us know we had to order at the window or nothing we sat for 10 minutes watching her talk away completely ignoring us until I got up and asked her if we had to order at the window or if she took our order. There was dirty tables and music playing very loud. The longaniza tacos were super salty my husband ate one and couldn’t finish the other one because it was so salty the rest of the food was good. I would say they need to work on there customer service there was another lady in the food truck cooking she was very polite the lady that took our order was the same one that was talking away in the dining area and she was rude when ever we asked about items on the menu. I had been wanting to go try this place for a year and we drove for an hour to eat there very disappointed will not go back.

We met a local person and he suggested this excellent little restaraunt. You will love this place. Authentic Mexican food. Out of the way. The place has a very nice atmosphere. People are very friendly. We tried 3 dishes today: Chilacuilues, chicken enchiladas, beef tacos. See the pics. Highly recommended!

Went here yesterday with my aunt on our lunch break. The food was very good and the owners were very nice. We got taquitos and a fajita taco. The taquitos flavors we got were papas/potatoes, pollo/chicken and rajas/serrano peppers & onions. Each one was so good I wanted more…but I was stuffed! The rice was also good and fresh. The dining area was painted fun colors…it was just a great atmosphere. There is indoor and outdoor dining. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

While visiting Waller, Google guided me to this gem. Everything was so fresh and tasted wonderful. Service was amazing. Genius way a dinning area was added to a catering truck. It’s very colorful with many Frida Khalo paintings. It’s a must visit. Self service beverage coolers, including adult. Will visit again. Closed Mondays.
