Went with my wife because she was craving pasteles, and I ended up trying the chicken and cheese empanadas along with the alcapurrias. Everything had good flavor, though I do wish the empanadas had a bit more meat. My wife really enjoyed the pasteles, and I loved the decor inside great atmosphere. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place

I am slightly disappointed with how my day went with my family. I really did enjoyed the food, and their deserts were actually amazing. The interior was a cute homage to mainland Puerto Rico, but the waiting hours were so upsetting. Nearly a hour and a half for our food to come, and it felt a bit crowded with the metal chairs slightly wobbling. On the bright side, the food was good, with the meal reminding you of your abuelo or abuela’s cooking, and the atmosphere is perfect for all people for all ages. The decor is one of my favourites, with the items filled with everything to remind of you the beauty of Puerto Rico, like Taino symbols, bongos, and the lively music of famous salseros. All together, it is a great place to eat, the staff and waiting time was just sadly not worth the long waiting

The Puerto Rican cuisine offered here is exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the Mofongo with shrimp, which I found to be the finest I have ever experienced, noting its outstanding flavor. My companions also expressed high satisfaction with their respective dishes. Despite the restaurant’s location being over an hour away, I intend to return.

The staff was excellent. You walked in to a family atmosphere as a typical Puerto Rican household. The food was delicious, we asked the young ladies for their opinions and they were spot on! Everything we ordered was great. We got rotisserie chicken, pernil, white rice and red beans, empanadas (beef and chicken), sorullos, maduros, chicken soup, rice pudding, cornbread with guava and cheese. Our party enjoyed everything and we even had leftovers!

Food is good and authentic. The restaurant is nice and clean. But more customer service skills needed. A kind, friendly and helpful puertorican always makes the difference raising our flag high! Many blessings!

My husband and I are here for a weekend getaway and decided to stop in for some takeout. The food is AUTHENTIC and DELICIOUS!! ! I had a pernil sandwich with plátano maduro and he had the rotisserie chicken with beans and macaroni salad along with a side of maduros. The food was FLAVORFUL and served HOT! I also got a container of pistachio polvorones and they were delicious! They have typical fritters available and also sell a variety of bagged coffees made in Puerto Rico. This place is LEGIT! ♥️ The staff is friendly and very welcoming. It was truly pleasure!
