I could hear the staff speaking Spanish from Spain and that gave me a feeling that the food would be proper. I was right.
The guys behind the bar were very friendly . The chef was super cool, gave us some suggestions to have dishes Asturianos.
The tortilla ( just a classic Spanish) was spot on and so the chorizo a la sidra ( I didn’t had enough of the sauce with bread).
We ordered a Fabada (Asturian bean and sausages stew) so my husband could try. I wasn’t expecting to be such a huge portion.
The meat balls were delightful with a sauce that had so much flavour to dig my bread in to.
The wine list was wonderful.
Portions are very generous so if it’s your first time ask for advice because they will offer the best.
We ate a lot and after all the prices were fair for the amount of quality food and wine we had.
Highly recommend
Can say enough about the food again. Will let the picture do the talking.
The food was simply outstanding. As someone who appreciates real Spanish flavors, I can confidently say this is the most authentic Spanish restaurant I’ve found. The portions were incredibly generous, and every dish was prepared with care. I had the seafood rice, which was packed with flavor and so substantial I struggled to finish it – in the best way possible! The fact that the shrimp were perfectly cleaned speaks volumes about their attention to detail. I also heard great things about the fabada with oxtail and the veal escalopines with Cabrales cheese, which I’m eager to try on my next visit.
The staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service throughout my meal. Their attentiveness truly enhanced the dining experience. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, especially for seafood dishes, the quality, authenticity, and generous portions make it entirely worth it. The only minor point is the lack of a full liquor license, but the excellent wine and beer selection still complements the meal perfectly. El Rincon Asturiano is a must-visit for anyone craving a truly authentic and delicious Spanish meal with fantastic service and a wonderful atmosphere.
