PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AT THIS RESTAURANT!!!I don’t know where I even start, but I’ll start by telling you I didn’t want to cook, but ended up in the kitchen having to fix the tasteless chicken I bought..I bought a whole rotisserie chicken and was really disappointed. It had no seasoning and honestly tasted worse than the ones you can get at Walmart, that’s how bad it was, I could have safe my self the $15 for chicken . The rice was hard, the beans were bad and overall the meal was not worth the $35 dollars I spent. I used to really enjoy coming here, but the quality has gone downhill. Please consider retraining your kitchen staff because this experience was unacceptable

We had a Dr”s appointment on Oak st. On our way in we saw this location and mentioned, when we are done, we can stop and try their food, we live in Tampa and lack Spanish Restaurants!
We did stop and we were not disappointed!
My husband had the rice, beans and pernil, and I had the Steak sandwich, it was Delicious!!!
They have so much more , everything looked delicious! I have to mentioned, at 8:30 am when we were passing by the restaurant, the smell was amazing! I am so happy we stopped to have bite to eat.
They also have life music on designated evenings.

The food was good, the chunks of fried pork and ripe green plantain was on point, it could be a little bit more of amount of food in terms of what we paid for, but I wasn’t expecting unexpected price changes in one of the beverages that were offered in a Happy Hour and surcharges of 15% when I applied 18% in addition, a total of 33% of tips. We were attended at the beginning with the waiter that took the order and then came another waiter. At the time to close the ticket account was not printed out, just showed us the credit card machine to pay and I didn’t notice of the surcharges and extra tips that wasn’t expected when I received the receipt by text message. I think it was too much for the tip service for what we were consuming. So, there will not be a next time, debut and bye bye.

I love this place and the food is great. It’s ugly on the outside but inside is spectacular. They have a DJ on Saturday’s that be playing some old school merengue hits and bachata, reggaeton. Big screen tvs to see sport events. They have a comfy VIP area. The food is fresh and delicious.

Great place to easy grab some Dominican food if you don’t want to wait too long. They guanabana juice was on point. My only problem is that the empanadas are cold and not fresh. They need a better system to keep them soft and fresh.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service. This is the second time I’ve placed a catering order and arrived on time, only to find out my food was given to another customer. Now I’m being told I have to wait—again—for them to remake the rice, which will take 30 minutes. This is completely unacceptable and incredibly frustrating, especially when planning around a scheduled pickup. Something needs to change.
