It’s a family owned business who serves simple, fast, and of course delicious meals. Their octopus and sea bass are a must try. I have been here 3 times just to try different dishes. Service is great too.

Absolutely amazing codfish! I really recommend their special cod, but if you’re vegetarian, no problem, a vegetarian menu! The location is also good, right above Rossio Square. The staff were so friendly and even did cheers with us!

Nothing impressed me a lot. Staff were friendly, but it took way too long for them to take our order and even bring us the bill.
4€ For 5 small slices of bread and two tiny containers of butter is criminal. Someone needs to be shot over that.
I think there are more interesting and better places to explore in Lisbon.

by far my favorite restaurant i’ve tried in Lisbon. The octopus was incredible, chicken and prawns too. Very friendly service, small but so welcoming restaurant.

Very small restaurant in Lisbon with only 5–6 tables. The waitress was nice and welcoming.
Only giving 3 stars because my husband loved his polvo à lagareiro, but my bacalhau com natas was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. It shouldn’t even be called bacalhau com natas. The cod came in big, chewy chunks, the onion was mostly raw and made up about 70% of the dish. The potatoes were barely 10%, and the cream had no salt at all.
I’m really disappointed, especially considering all the amazing reviews.
They have baby chair, but there’s no place to change the baby.

Our favorite Lisbon restaurant of this trip. Had the octopus two separate times and prawns once. One octopus was plenty for two. Also ordered the salad and bread for dipping in sauces. Highly recommend!

Small establishment and as others have mentioned, open kitchen with ability to view the food being prepared.
Service was excellent with our questions answers and server was courteous and professional.
We ordered the prawns risotto, and grilled sea bream. Both were excellent with quality inquiries and bursting with flavors!
Friendly suggestion to upgrade the seating to more comfortable chairs and booth thus the 4 stars.

Amazing food. Every dish we tried was well seasoned and tasted so good. We had the chicken with mash potatoes, sea bass which was the fish of the day and the octopus which I eat regularly but have never had such soft octopus with an amazing char. Honestly an outstanding meal. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, we arrived with our little boy sleeping and the chef came and sorted the table out so we could lay him on one of the benches which was so thoughtful. We will 100% return and recommend highly. Thankyou for such a high class service.
