My mom’s burrito supreme was huge and turned out really good. My shredded beef enchilada was delicious. Our server brought us mild salsa which was much appreciated.

My taco salad was delicious despite soaking up a napkins worth of liquid it was swimming in. The server was amazing. Service was amazing. Employees were so nice. I’ll be back for sure. But I might be sticking with nachos.

It was excellent!! Food taste great! Atmosphere was nice. Staff was amazing quick and attentive!! Prices were very fair!! We had the Deluxe Nachos for an appetizer then children’s enchiladas , deluxe enchilada and 2 bacon burgers!! Very happy will definitely be going back again!!

I’m visiting from Texas and was not expecting a restaurant in the pacific northwest to compete with my favorite Mexican food restaurants in Texas, but wow! El Ranch Viejo knocked it out of the park. The beef enchiladas were some of the very best I have had anywhere – even Texas. I will for sure be back here more than once before I head home. Great Job!!!

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside. The outdoor seating area isn’t much to write home about. The interior isn’t modern and up-to-date but it’s clean.
But … the inside is festive and bright. Every wall is covered with beautiful paintings. There are plants. It feels like you’re stepping into a different (and happier!) world.
The service was personal. We were attended to very well. The “happy birthday” song was fun and entertaining. And my fajitas were awesome. Everyone else in my group loved their food as well.
Really, I couldn’t ask for more.

We visited during Harvest Day in Battle Ground. We tried to go see a band that I’m friends with at Playmakers. But there were so many people in there we decided to pass. So we walk around and ended up at El Rancho Viejo. It was 90° plus so Cadillac margaritas were ordered straight away. The wife ordered a taco salad. I wanted something small…which wasn’t easy. But went with a shredded beef quesadilla. It was excellent. El Rancho Viejo is a funky but decent joint. Yet for us in the heat, it was an oasis.
