Food wasnt all that great. Type of style of mexican food is very different and lacking flavor. The green chile sauce needs some work. The red chile sauce was ok.

I truly loved this place. The service was quick and attentive and everything tasted so local and fresh. I would visit again in a heartbeat!

The food was okay, just didn’t have a lot of flavor sadly. The salsa was really good but the rolled tacos didn’t have as much flavor as I would have liked. The burrito sauce was a little lacking also.
I would go back though and try it again.

Food here is delicious. Just the service is very slow. The waitress ignore you unless you are their assigned table. It took forever to get our food but it was good though. Almost enough to make up for the slow service.

We came into town after a long day looking for a warm delicious meal and saw this quant family “Mexican” restaurant… We were quickly disappointed… My boyfriend ordered the chicken fajitas which came cold, chewy, and dry… my dog eats better than that. I ordered the Navajo taco which was cold, soggy, and no flavor. This small family owned restaurant we tried to give the benefit of the doubt was just not up to par and very disappointing. Please do not advertise Hispanic cuisine if that is not what you’re serving…. You’re serving nothing but food that may or may not give food poisoning…

Great place to stop if you’re craving good Mexican- American food. Chips and hot salsa on arrival. The cheese crisp was my favorite located right off of I-40.

Food was delicious and came out quick. They had a cool little gift shop you can walk through too. Waiters were on the ball, I don’t think my glass was ever less then half empty the entire time I was there.

Amazing food and service. We got a stuffed sopapilla (with red and green chili sauce), green chili cheese crisp, and a tamale. We also got regular sopapillas with honey (amazing!). Their prickly pear margarita was great too. It’s definitely worth the stop.

Fabulous food, very kind, friendly and attentive waitress. I had the shredded beef burrito with the chef made green chili salsa. So delicious and more than ample portions. My wife had chicken enchiladas. Chips and salsa, a wonderful first impression.
Everything tastes as good as it looks!

Hands down one of the best if not the best shredded beef chimi in AZ. Green chili sauce definitely homemade with lots of green chilis. It was spicier than the red sauce. I didn’t have much of an appetite but I completely wolfed this whole chimi down it was so good. Oh and the fried ice cream was the best too. They use a fried cinnamon sugar tortilla bowl that was flakey and fit perfectly with bites of ice cream. Lovely low key local diner with full bar. If we ever come through Holbrook again we will be stopping here.
