Ordered a chili relleno and received something that was not a chile relleno made from roasted poblano peppers stuffed with cheese, dipped in a fluffy egg batter and fried until golden brown! It was bell pepper Chopped up with cheese. Not what I had wanted nor anticipated. Very sad. Waitress was great! Cook just needs to learn how to cook what’s on the menu!!

We just went to El Rancho for lunch today and we were very happy. Definitely going back. Like tomorrow. The food was good, especially for the price and location. You could tell it was homemade- except the tortillas. Those are definitely not homemade. Lol! But for Mexican food in North Mississippi, it was good! And the prices were really good. I had the chimichanga lunch special ($4.99) and my husband had the beef fajitas ( I don’t remember the price) but both were good. The waitress could have been friendlier and I do wish they had a takeout menu, but overall, we were pleasantly surprised and will be back again and again! Lol!
