Ordered on DoorDash yesterday and wanted to leave a written review (which they don’t have an option on DoorDash).
I ordered the Nachos el Patrón.
It is described as:
Corn tortilla chips with your choice of grilled steak, chicken, or shrimp. Topped with guacamole, sour cream, and black beans.
I ordered it with steak, chicken & shrimp (everything on the side so it doesn’t get soggy). It arrived pretty fast and the DoorDasher was professional.
I brought it in, took it out of the bag and unpacked it to eat (took a picture for DoorDash).
I noticed some of the tortilla chips were burnt, not just around the top edges but throughout the dish which should have meant they wouldn’t be cold but the food was cold towards the bottom center of the dish. I started eating the shrimp first and they were just lukewarm. I noticed they didn’t include the black beans (bummer, it’s why I selected it).
Then I noticed a couple of big pieces of cheese that was only melted on top but the underneath appeared it never got warm enough to melt. After I ate the shrimp using the chips that come separately in the bag because they seemed to be lighter in color, I tried the tiny pellet size bits of steak & the little pieces of chicken. Tried to like it but it was no bueno.
I was truly disappointed in myself for not cooking at home and sadly tossed everything else out.
This restaurant usually serves and sends delicious food so maybe they were just having an off day.
I gave the food three stars because that’s what I received and not the usual quality they serve. It was missing the black beans and I could only eat what was more like a kids portion or appetizer size.
So disappointed because I was anticipating their regular delicious food.

I had the Fajitas Texanas. There was a good mix between the meat and veggies. There was a hint a something sweet in the fajitas mix that I couldn’t place my finger on but it was very good. The owner is present and quite involved with the diners. The salsa was a little thin for my liking but still good. Beans and Rice were cooked perfect. I would go back again should I ever return to the area.

Every time I’ve been here the food and service have been very good. The chilis rellenos with ground beef is my favourite. The enchiladas and burritos are very good too. I’ve always been seated within 3 minutes or less. The servers at lunch can be spread thin but they are professional and good at what they do. The prices are competitive for the area.

The weather is hot during the summer vacation during the Olympics. Many people come here with their children. The price here is affordable, the service is super good, and the food is delicious. Maybe I asked for it when ordering, so the food was really spicy. decoration style in the store is very sunny, and the food is served quickly. This is definitely our go-to for Mexican food on the eastern shores. The food is excellent. The service is normally very good, sometimes it can be a bit slow but it’s because they’re busy!!! We have never left disappointed or hungry!!!

Invited for dinner by a friend- ordered a Bloody Mary! As a treat, I don’t really drink…this was the worst bloody Mary I’ve just ever had! The bartender had a sour attitude, and the manager was no better when I tried to return it. They told me I couldn’t. It was served with no garnishing. Bloodymary was blackish in color and watery. Waay to spicy !
Another lady there had problem with her drink and had to get more triple sec added to her margarita the bar maid wanted her to pay for the triple sec just to make the drink, right! I will never be back there. I don’t care who’s paying. Food is mediocre at best.

Atmosphere and service were better than the food. The cheese in the cheese enchiladas was not melted and not cheese-like. Not sure what type of white cheese they use. The chips were good and they have a nice salsa. Would not go back.
