This place has been remodeled in the last year or so. It looks great and the food and service are top notch. The plate presentation is the best of any Mexican restaurant I’ve been too in decades. I have never been disappointed by any of the dishes I’ve tried and I always try something new each visit. This place is truly set apart from other Mexican restaurants. I highly recommend this place.

The staff were friendly and inviting. Chips were on the table before we were seated. Beautiful pictures adored the walls. Food was served quickly and hot. Staff was dressed professionally. They helped my elderly mother to her table. Restrooms were clean. And, yes, they accept coupons!

This restaurant has the most obnoxious birthday celebration I’ve ever witnessed. Terrible sirens, loud music, and it just went on and on. The waiter took our drink order and didn’t come back for about 15 minutes. Then we had to flag down another waiter to get a box and our checks. Just a horrible dining experience. Food was good!

I have passed by El Rancho Grande locations in the Cincinnati area many times. Have always been skeptical and have no apologies for feeling that way. With some hesitation, I ordered carry-out from this location (Montgomery Rd) tonight. I should have gone with my “gut” feelings, if you will pardon the expression. If the food that I received tonight is considered good quality Mexican food, I will refrain from ordering this ethnic food. Spent $30 plus for this slop? Really? No thank you. For the El Rancho Grande representative who will be responding to this review, please don’t respond with your usual “We are sorry…….” Instead, serve a quality product so that people will want to come back. I won’t be back.

Do NOT go here. Would give 0 stars if I could. We are regulars at another location but the Montgomery one happens to be closer when on way home. Repeatedly screw up carry out orders (3rd time in about 1 1/2 yrs). Called as soon as got home to discover wrong meal AGAIN. Put on hold. Told to call back later. Never given any answers and even hung up on. All I wanted was a credit returned to my card for the wrong meal. This seems to be their pattern – avoid and never remedy their mistake. Nothing fixed and told me to come back in (keeping in mind, I’m 12-15 minutes away) or get credit there for next time. Nope – won’t be a next time. Beyond frustrated. Horrible customer service and can’t seem to get an online order correct. AVOID Montgomery location at all costs unless you want to be disappointed and waste your money.

Food/drinks were good. Service was not. I asked for a refill of a classic top shelf margarita on the rocks with salt and received a blended strawberry margarita (what my friend originally ordered). I asked for no tortillas and received tortillas. We asked for to-go boxes and the check and waited 30 minutes before we figured out our bill and left cash on the table before walking out. I’ll not be back.

4 of us ate at this particular El Ranch Grande on 8 May for the first time. Our waiter Fernando (who turns out to be the manager) was friendly and went over and above to help us have a great experience. The food was wonderful. The decor of the restaurant was the nicest El Rancho Grande we’ve seen. The place was bright and clean, even the bathrooms! The only issue was the music was a bit louder than I preferred though my dinner mates didn’t care.
