I had a very frustrating experience here.
At 6:40 PM I called and ordered one plate of Fajita al Chipotle. I arrived almost an hour later at 7:30 PM thinking my order would be ready. When I got there, the lady at the counter told me they don’t accept Apple Pay. That was fine, so I called my partner who was already driving out of town to come back and hand me his card.
She mentioned she could manually enter the card, so I assumed my order was already ready since it had been almost an hour. I waited at the counter about 10 minutes because I was in a hurry. I needed to go to the hospital ASAP, which is exactly why I ordered by phone to avoid delays.
After I paid, she said “Déjeme voy y checo su orden.” That’s when I realized the food wasn’t even ready yet. I asked if it would take long and told her that if it was, to please cancel it because I had to leave. She then responded “Me hubiera dicho antes de cobrarle.”
That really upset me because it’s not my job to ask if the order is ready before being charged. If the order wasn’t ready after almost an hour, that should have been communicated from the beginning.
At that point I was already late to where I needed to go, so I told her it was fine and that I didn’t even need the refund. She insisted I wait so she could return the money, but the money wasn’t the issue — the lack of communication and wasted time was.
I want to be fair and say that this is not my first time here, and I’ve never had issues when the morning hostess (the güerita) is there. She’s always been polite and everything runs smoothly. Unfortunately, this experience tonight was very disappointing and could have easily been avoided with simple communication.

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and although the wait was a bit long, it moved quickly. The hostess at the door was incredibly attentive, polite, and respectful when answering my questions. Her kindness made the experience even better. I would 100% return to this amazing restaurant.

We Visited El rancho Grande Mexican Restaurant and Cantina after visiting the San Juan Basilica and visiting a nearby flea market. It was a Sunday and we went a really busy time. The staff were very friendly and fast. We were told our order would have a delay because of how busy the restaurant was. When our order arrived we were very pleased with our order. We will definitely be visiting El Rancho Grande Mexican Restaurant and Cantina again.

Called 6 times before they answered me to order a botana for two. Then we had to wait 45 minutes for it. Then we finally get it take off get home and I’m calling and calling and no answer again. The botana we waited for wasn’t even hot rice was raw the beans didn’t have any flavor the chips from the botana along with the squash are burnt. Paid $36.64 for cold flavorless and burnt food!! So after multiple times calling finally got a hold of a manager Luis he apologized and replaced my botana for tomorrow.

I was in town visiting and stopped for lunch here. We got Fajitas for 4 and was amazed at what we got. Platter was amazing! Fajitas were delicious . Not every restaurant makes them delicious but they were spot on tender. Waiter was awsome too! We will definitely be coming back when we are in town again.

Heard the food was great and the private area is so cute with the lights and the wall mural. Giving 1 start because my family signed a contract and paid a deposit for a private room. We are having a rehearsal dinner, which is supposed to be a private moment for us to share toasts. We planned to use the space to actually rehearse for the ceremony. But then my family showed up and they did not give us a private area as was agreed. We signed a contract and paid a deposit. What terrible service and a huge slap in the face. We will never recommend this place again for private events. What a disaster. Wedding weekends are already stressful enough. Do not trust this place with your private dinners.
