Amazing food! The best enchiladas in the state (I’m serious)! This cute little place to get great Mexican food is a hidden gem here in Salt Lake City – it’s a great place for lunch, dinner, family or solo eating. It’s all take-out ready too and that’s good (especially since it’s pretty accessible due to easy freeway access). Seriously, come eat here – it’s amazing!

I am so so glad we can again get the best Mexican style food in the valley! We have loved El Rancho Grande for years and years. We’ve spent many a celebration eating this delicious food. I’m glad to eat the same great food we’ve had over the years. We miss the sit down restaurant in Kearns, but this will do as long as we can have the same food. And it tastes as good as always. Yum!

It tasted great and smelled just the old El Rancho Grande. It really hard to find homemade Mexican food like my grand mothers. Most today calf stuff or new stuff. It all good but not like my grand mother.

I got a mixture of different food to try because I heard great reviews and I wanted to try a local vendor. I took a chance and got a mixture of things. The prices and quality didnt match the reviews. I was really diappinted. Then the smell or the meat and then the taste, we immediately knew something was off. The meat tasted spoiled, from the Chicken to the Carne Asada. We couldn’t even finish our food we ended up throwing it out. Such a huge disappointment. I won’t be going here again.

They’re back! YAY!
Everybody who ever ate at the El Rancho Grande in Kearns was devastated that the owners retired and closed the business. The family continued on with a food truck, but finding that at the right time isn’t always convenient.
For those of us left with a hole in our hearts and in our stomachs, we can now fill that emptiness. Now you can place pick up orders or dine in at a space they now occupy in the Granatos building at 1400 South 300 West (SW corner of the Lowe’s parking lot).
The food is still delicious and filling. This is my “go to” comfort food. That said, I’ve made myself hungry, and so now I’ma gonna “go to” get some!
My fave is the 3 smothered Chile Verde burritos, rice, no beans, lettuce and Pico on the side and XXtra hot sauce, which is enough to have it tomorrow, too.
Highly recommended!
