we come here all the time and i never have a complaint, its always good food and good service … but not tonight . what happened today this is not something that should be tolerated & right now im beyond mad . on the phone i said only meat and cheese 3 times . when i got there i asked to make sure they made only meat and cheese and the girl stated: “if you asked for meat and cheese they will only make it meat and cheese .” which i said okay , paid , then walked out . get home and ITS NOT MEAT AND CHEESE. i get it sometimes stuff happens but i mentioned it 4 times . spent 30$ . idc if i can “pick the peppers and onions out.” if it comes on it because its prepared/ prepped that way i shouldve been made aware .

After hiking at Morrow mountain State Park, my friends and I stopped in for lunch; we had a large group. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was spectacular! I had the street tacos with chicken, rice, and an alcohol free frozen margarita. The food was flavored very well. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant!

Food was meh like most Mexican restaurants around here. You can tell the food had shortcuts like water down salsa, cheese sauce, and cheap meat. If I’m going to pay close $20 for what should be a fre $$$ to make. I want it to taste like it comes from a place that cares about their craft. Honestly our Mexican at home tastes better than whatever this place is serving. 1 and done!

When we arrived 6:45pm, this place was hopping! There was a line practically out the door and the place was full. This was a Friday night. The staff was hustling and the atmosphere was friendly and bustling. We were seated in about 20 minutes and the wait staff was efficient, helpful and attentive. Our food came fairly quickly, it was hot and delicious. I noticed that everyone working was busting their tails to see to their customers. Our waiter was wonderful. We never had to flag down anyone or wait for a refill on our drinks. The prices were reasonable and honestly I have to say it was one of the nicest dining experiences I have had since the pandemic started. We travel through this area often and this will be a regular place for us from now on. I gave them 4 stars for atmosphere only because it was a little crowded and they were so busy that it would have been impossible to have a quiet romantic dinner if that was on your agenda. But if not, don’t miss out on a great place to eat in Albemarle, NC.

I got the trio naked burrito, minus the beans. Steak, chicken, shrimp, rice, guacamole, pico de gallo (I think)… soooo good! And so much to eat. It will probably make 3 meals.
The service was good.

This place is the best. The staff are always so sweet and friendly, and after trying a ton of different items in the menu I can confidently say the carnitas albañil is the best meat dish in town (if you like spicy!). Lil Albemarle may not have much on Charlotte but every time we have friends visit from the city we bring them here. 45oz classic margaritas are a must for any good time!

this is clearly just a margarita mix place. the food was an incredibly poor attempt at Mexican food. If you like real Mexican food find another place…….the batter was not only wrong but not cooked and doughy(it supposed to be whipped egg) and whatever they used for cheese had no business in a poblano…..it hails more of taco bell nacho cheesish substance. I get it, some people are into cheap drinks and bad food…..this place is perfect for that.

Food is great, busy place, parking tight. A little dated.
