1st timers to Palm Springs. We were told about this place from 3 people, so we had to check it out! We were very impressed! I had the carne asada fajitas and my bride had the shredded beef chimichanga. Nothing was left! So good. The night before we went to a local mexican chain and were very disappointed. El Ranchito ran circles around that place! Our server, Leslie, was super nice and walked us through some of their specialties. My favorite moment was when my wife had a taste of my carne asada and stared at me and said “This. Is, The . Best!” Hands down coming back again! Thanks Leslie and the whole staff for a wonderful experience . Oh, and the happy hour margs were made fresh, not from a pitcher! 10 out of 10 stars!

If you are a menudo fan.. don’t order from El Ranchito. 16.99 for a bowl. It was greasy, over cooked …. all greasy soup in your order, didn’t eat it. Brought it home to take a photo and do this review. .

This place serves great and affordable food. The service was excellent and quick. Portions are little oversize, but hey.. you can take home and finish it there. Love the flavor and the place is nice and clean. Def recommending this place to friends.

The Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. We got there right at opening, in less than an hour the dining area was full of customers. They have Patio open as well to enjoy the awesome weather.
We had the Birria Tacos, Poblano potato chowder, Machaca, and Chile Verde Burito. For dessert we had the amazing Flan!
10/10 from the salsa and chips to the flan and everything in between.

Loved the authentic Mexican food! It’s so clean and such a beautiful vibe! I went on a Friday and they have live music, it was really good and I saw multiple other customers allowed to sing as well. Love how welcoming this restaurant is!

An authentic Mexican Restaurant. Food was very good, nice portions, a variety from soup to desserts on the menu to enjoy. Mixed drinks to compliment the meal. Daily specials! Staff were very good and attentive. Reasonable prices, sufficient parking out front.

Quintessential fabulously well prepared generous Mexican food and drink exactly as you are hoping for…busing the area from Seattle area, our local friend recommended it…it was perfect and fresh And delicious…the burnt pineapple with Mezcal was delicious and the soft tacos prepared 3 different ways all hit the mark…very generous with the complimentary chips and 3 salsas….outside patio was perfect with our small dog was easy and server was attentive…I highly recommend and will def return…

Delicious authentic Mexican! Left this Canadian gushing over the abundance of Oaxaca cheese in the dishes, which is incredibly expensive back home. Great prices with large portions. Will definitely be back for more.
