Local family owned, 50 years plus community gem! My go to order is typically a bean dip supreme as an appetizer, small ranchito smothered and side of rice. I haven’t even mentioned their ice but my goodness make sure to order your drink in a to go cup for a take home treat! Honestly there’s so many different food items I love eating from here! My advice, if you’re a newbie, is to ask Minnie and she’ll help you out.

I was born and raised in Ulysses, Kansas, and as a little girl growing up… We had many visits there. During the years as life progressed moved to a town close then as time progressed moved to SE Missouri. I so missed the food they served. When moving back again to SW Kansas, I get to go to “Chitos” again. Still the food is still the same and the atmosphere as always so friendly as well as the service. Great place and so glad to be back home in the Southwest Kansas area again.

This is not a chain restaurant. It is a small town place that has good food and a quiet atmosphere. It’s not your latest decor but I don’t go to restaurants for decor. If you are in a hurry and want to just get food in 3 minutes and go this may not be the place for you. That being said we didn’t wait very long for our food.

Apparently you can’t order before 1o’clock on a Sunday because the walk in customers are more important then the take outs. Yet they don’t tell you that or have a sign that says that.
They cut the lemon slices like a piece of paper and if you ask for more all the sudden they ran out and you have to use packets.
The prices seem to change every few weeks even if you’ve ordered the same thing. I feel she over charges people and gets away with it.
The boss mistreats her employees that actually stick round to deal with her b.s
