I got the Deluxe Dinner that comes with one chalupa, enchilada, taco, tamale, three cheese nachos, rice and refried beans.
I posted a picture of the plate with the Chalupa (has guacamole on it) and the the three cheese nachos. I was surprised to find out it was LITERALLY 3 regular size tortilla chips with a partially melted shredded cheese on it! Not 3 cheeses, but 3 chips with cheese. And the chips were burnt. They were so bad I only ate 1 of the 3. So I guess 3 is plenty.
The meat in the enchilada was disgusting. I took one bite and couldn’t believe how bad it was. I had my son take a bite to see if my taste buds were off or something and he couldn’t believe how bad they were either.
I do like the chips and salsa they give you. The chips are delicious, light and crispy and the salsa is spicy and flavorful.
The chalupa, rice and beans, and beef taco were good.
My son got the Chile Relleno. It is supposed to be a stuffed Poblano pepper. However, when it arrived it was just a mound of mess and the only part of the pepper was on the bottom.
His food didn’t look appetizing because it was in pieces but it tasted fine and he ate everything.
This was my first time eating at the new location. I had eaten at the old location dozens of times over the years.
Although some of the food was good, about half of my meal was terrible. I will not be going back.

We had big birthday party at their new location and the service and food was excellent! The food came out hot and the wait staff was very attentive. The owners are amazing at making you feel welcome and very accommodating to requests. You can tell they have been working very hard at listening to the feedback of customers and working diligently to correct any issues reported. Way to go El Ranchito! We are so happy you are back!

Had lunch here yesterday for the first time and can say with certainty that I will never be back. The server was clueless when asked about gluten free items. I thought the chicken tortilla soup would be safe, but it was inedible. It was extremely salty liquid with a glob of shredded chicken and had a few tiny things floating that I think may have been tomato pieces. The salsa was ok, but the chips were stale. The desert flan came out, after a very long wait, frozen solid and served on a super hot plate. It was not creamy and had no caramelized sugar. There were five other people at our table and when we left the restaurant, everyone said they would not be back. I gave everything one star only because there was no way to give a negative star.

Well started off with the sign when you walk through the door . “ Today’s special Margaritas “ . Sounded great . All six of us seated and waitress came by for drink orders . We all ordered frozen margaritas. Waitress came back and said the machine was broken. This machine has been broken for months and months! So we ordered a strawberry margarita on the rocks , sorry we are out . Ok how about orange juice ? Sorry we are out , how about pineapple? Sorry we are out . So frustrating. Instead of a full time bartender they have a waiter doing double duty. Probably why no inventory is being done.
I ordered grilled pork chops. Says it comes with grilled onions . I’m good . It came out smothered in green peppers and onion . I hate green peppers and it wasn’t in description . Food was ok . The sign out front is still broken . And seating is complicated, they only sit one side or the other? Unfortunately soon we will see the for lease sign in front. Sad because I’ve been patronizing since the original. The place has no vibe , no music. It feels dead inside and the waitresses all seem unhappy because they don’t have customers, and tips

Ordered enchilada taco plate. Food was tasteless. Enchilada sauce resembled Alpo dog food. Took 2 bites, paid left. Never to return. Get a new cook.

I chose this restaurant to host my Dad’s 80th birthday celebration. I am so glad I did! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! To me, they exceeded my expectations on how the event would go! I cannot thank everyone enough at El Ranchito on your professionalism and organization in taking care of the guest! Food was fantastic as usual! Thanks again!!

Food wasn’t good at all! I ordered an enchilada plate with rice and beans. It was extremely salty and just tasted horrible. I couldn’t even eat it, I had a few bites just paid and left. My grandfathers plate was the same. He has high blood pressure so he was unable to eat the meal as well. Just a complete waste of money!

We walked in knowing it would be busy just by the full parking lot. Understandable 20-25min wait and decided to stay. As we waited, we could see how unorganized the front staff were. (Side note: If wait staff are wearing a white collard button up shirt, shouldnt the hostesses be in similar dress code, rather than shorts and white flat sneakers?) After being seated, waitress was welcoming. After returning with drinks and to take our order, I asked if the flautas were made w/ corn or flour tortillas. She went to ask and confirmed flour. Great for me! Kids plates: Tamale plate & taco plate, MIL ordered chicken fajita salad. 1 of 4 plates correct. My flautas were corn, 1 kids plate was a cheese enchilada not a taco plate, MIL chicken fajita salad was clearly a chicken taco salad. MIL went back & forth with waitress that it seems to be a chicken taco salad bc what she had orginally ordered had other toppings. Waitress claimed no it’s correct its a fajita salad and does not come w/avocado. I suppose the menu must be wrong and both salad options w/ meat are the same salads. So much for variety! Also pretty small and skimpy for the price. I didn’t want to keep pushing the issues w/ my plate as we would have waited longer for replacement as stated by waitress. Now waiting for a taco for my daughter, I decided to try the enchilada that came on the already served plate, the cheese wasn’t even melted. At this point I was over it. I wish the salsa was good enough to drench over the food to at least enjoy it but it wasn’t. The salsa is made with fresh quickly blended tomatoes, not bad for some instances but this one did not have much flavor as roasted or sauted salsas would. Never again returning. No attempt from management, waitress or hostess to make things right and didn’t take accountability for mistakes/ experience. We should have just revised the food and left to taco bell.
