Only reason I gave it 4 stars was because they took away the half pineapple Fajitas even if they did sliced pineapple it would be better than no pineapple at all, but the Fajitas we did order were absolutely amazing, delicious, and my husband and I ate on it for 2 days.. it had everything. Steak, chicken, shrimp, chorizo, onions and peppers. Oh and they changed up the side with the cute little fried tortilla shell with the salad in it which was amazing!! By the way our waitress was outstanding..

We went there today I had a Ranchero Baked Potato and my husband had steak tacos, it all was so good! And the server was very attentive and sweet, great place with good prices too. Definitely will come back!

Tasty Food, But Portions Could Be Better
The food here was delicious! I ordered the chimichanga and the carnitas. The chimichanga tasted good, but for the price, it felt a bit expensive for what I got — it was filled only with ground beef and covered in white cheese sauce. For around $7, I expected a little more. I’d probably try the full meal next time to get a better experience.
The carnitas were flavorful, just a little on the dry side, but still enjoyable overall. The chips and salsa were also really good and came out fresh.
Service was okay — the girl working was clearly doing her best, but she was both the waitress and the host, so she was extremely busy. Not her fault at all, just something to be aware of if you go during a rush.
Overall, good food and worth trying, especially if you’re craving Mexican dishes.

worst caldo de mariscos ever. it had imitation crab, two pieces of shrimp that were very small size of shrimp in a maruchan. it had enough mussels, and 3 pieces of fish. flavor was not great. overall completely dissatisfied and not a happy customer.

What do I think of El Ranchero in Dalton, GA? It’s time to put this place on the map ladies and gentlemen! Outstanding results from this place from the decor, friendly staff, drinks, food, and the karaoke room was spot on. Shout out to my server Wendy who made my dessert out of corn instead of flour because I am gluten intolerant. Wow! Now that is some customer service right there folks. I highly recommend this place if you are in town or in the surrounding areas. I will be bringing a group for karaoke night soon.
The salsa is the best I have had to date. It has the right flavoring and hotness to please anyone.

Went today with my wife to el ranchero restaurant, and I can’t believe how delicious the seafood is there! Supremely underrated, the best seafood I have tasted in Dalton so far! We will definitely be back!

The best thing about El Ranchero is….Javier….need I say more??? (Took FOREVER to find my favorite waiter after the big Los Reyes closed!) Fortunately for us the food is so yummy and the portion sizes are ridiculously huge. Highly recommend eating here.

I had the baked potato ranchero. I t was really good it’s a lot of food so dont fill up on chips and salsa . It’s a big place they have room for big groups. I also had a pineapple drink it’s ok not too sweet and not too plane. Friendly staff.

Very good and tasty food the reason don’t get a 5 it’s that they didn’t have a few of the items that were listed on the menu And also the Caldo de Almejas only had shimp and imitation crab It should have potatoes green squash carrots Calamari octopus and mussels.update coming. well here it is I ordered 2 to go and it was a complete disappointment between both it only had 20 little shrimp.
