Food was just ok. The rice and black beans was very salty and my bistek was not the typical bistek flavor I am used to having at many other Mexican places.
They have both indoor and outdoor seating however there is no a.c. indoors, so we opted for outdoors yesterday (July) but thank goodness it was not a hot evening. The floor indoors towards the cashier and restrooms is very slippery/greasy.
Service is towards the slower side only because they only have one person managing the register, taking ordsrs, and serving. Despite this, she was moving around as best as she could in a friendly manner.
The coca cola is a 335ml bottle from Mexico made with cane sugar (slightly better ingredients than the American coca cola.

The BEST Mexican restaurant in Keyport by far! The food is fresh and authentic. Our favorites are the guacamole, Birria tacos, beef empanadas and the chicken burrito. A super sweet family owns it and I always feel at home there. It’s BYOB and I love sitting outside in the summer. Don’t miss the homemade flan!

I ordered to go. When I arrived, everything was polished and colorful. I could smell the sabor. I ordered the barbacoa pork burrito, chicken nachos and a mole tamale. The green salsa oh, wow. Each item was 5 stars, in my opinion. (I stopped eating for a moment and said to myself what can I say in a review?) I can attest to the authenticity and the wonderful flavor portion size and togetherness of this restaurant and it’s offerings. From the muy Linda senorita at the service counter to my satisfied appetite 5 stars!

We ate here this afternoon for the first time. The food was very good. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were moderate. We recommend you try it.

Very authentic food and atmosphere. On a good day their Carnitas Burrito (slow-cooked shredded pork burrito) is to die for. Local kids stop by here for their nachos. If it’s nice grab some burritos and walk to the nearby Cedar Street Park and stare at the NYC skyline.

My go to lunch spot. Everything here is so good and reasonable prices.

It definitely fits the “hole in the wall” stereotype and the food is amazing. We had chicken tacos in soft shells as well as the ribs in green sauce. Super yummy and a lovely staff. Will definitely go again!

AMAZING!!! Only way to describe it from start to finish!
There was a bit of an issue with the printed menu and the online menu. It appears the printed menu is a little out of date and some of the items are not on the website. Perhaps they will either update one or the other.
Aside from that, there was a bit of a language barrier when ordering over the phone but nothing horrible.
The food was as authentic as you can possibly get. The burritos were flavorful and big. Everything was delicious!!!
I would heavily recommend this restaurant.

I went in this place I ordered tamales I said and I waited about 30 minutes this is after I have paid for them after 30 minutes they came out and told me they didn’t have any and refunded me my money but I didn’t get all my money back and they keep from being confrontational I just walked out and asked when they would have any tamales and she said Friday I will never go back here you should never sell an item if you don’t have any I will order my tamales from Texas and have them delivered. It was quite a nice restaurant at what day was cooking in the back did smell delicious but nothing next up for me not getting a full refund.

I had this place for the first time, and man it was delicious. The lady at the counter was so kind and even gave us an extra order of birria tacos for free! She was so nice, and the food was great. I must come back, and it’s probably my new favorite taco spot in town!
