We went on a Sunday afternoon and had a great experience. It was quiet, great service. We ordered the nachos and the al pastor taco both were delicious. My favorite part was the freshly made corn tortillas. Thats not easy to make it right and I am very picky with it. We also loved the natural juices, especially the spiced mango one. Had a wonderful experience, start to finish. Excellent service from our server and two others whom we had brief exchanges. The salsas are delicious with nicely balanced flavor. My husband asked for a hotter version, and loved the spicy orange salsa, reminiscent of a Northern California taqueria he used to frequent when we lived there.
Food presentation was attactive and everything tasted fresh. Will definitely return when we are in the Chatham area.

Great option for a tasty and affordable dinner! BYO if you want something spiked but their horchata and Jamaica are delicious. I haven’t branched beyond the cheese enchiladas because they’re tasty and I appreciate they come with half verde and half red sauce.

The first thing you notice will be the amazing interior. The restaurant is super clean, bright and organized. The food was so good. Enjoyed everything we had. I had Chicken Tacos and they were so so good.

Update: I recently visited this restaurant to see I’d there was anything different from my original experience and I was not disappointed. This time, I got a Torta Cubans and my friend got the Carne Asada and both of these meals were filling and delicious. I’m happy they changed my mind and I can’t wait to come back once again.
We got tacos al pastor and a steak burrito. The decorations and the chips were the best part. They took long, the food was poor in taste, and the music was in Spanish. Overall, they need to improve the quality of the food because it wasn’t very authentic tasting.

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Chatham. If u can’t find parking in the front, there is plenty of parking off of Passaic.
Loves their guacamole… not overly lemony and not too bland! It was just right. Yellow rice that came with the food was delish. Everything else was average … fairly basic! But to be fair to the restaurant we only tried vegetarian food. Maybe other items are better.

I have been to this restaurant 3 different times with family. The food is always excellent, portions are large, and the service is good.
I am mainly writing this review because I also have noticed in the times that I have been there that the staff is also extremely kind. I have gone to the restaurant with older relatives, some of whom have memory issues. That can be challenging at restaurants, but the staff here has always been great and really responsive when I have had unusual and challenging requests to accommodate my family.
I have also noticed other families at the restaurant with difficult small children and other elderly relatives. In this past visit, I observed a family with a child that clearly had developmental disabilities. In every instance the staff was patient and kind, and it was clear that all of these people have been to this restaurant before and feel comfortable here.
Going out with people who wish to be social but can also be overwhelmed is challenging, but this staff is exceptional.
In addition to their food being excellent, they are just really good people. Eat there if you can. It’s great and they deserve all the support in the world.

They recently opened a backyard seating area that is lovely! Such a great way to eat outside but not right on the sidewalk.

A very forgettable meal. Both my wife and I had the same opinion. Nothing but the typical Mexican cuisine you can get anywhere. My Steak Fajita had grizzly bits that was unpleasant. Today, so many Mexican restaurants are really pulling out all the stops to create mouthwatering food. Everything about this dinner was underwhelming. Won’t be back.
